Why are saying spurs should be proud how they played? Like they played like heroes with 9 men? They got thumped at home by their rivals who were not very good. Conceding  a hat trick against a awful striker. Playing a high line with 9 men?

Instead they should be focusing on how they lost their discipline and ultimately cost them the game

Im sure they are gonna moan as well at having a 12.30 game sat morning now as well.

That game would have taken a hell of a lot out of them

Because Big Ange haha what a legend he's so zany mate!

Richardson out is prob a blessing for them as johnson wilm get more minutes and i rate him

Have they got any backup CFs on the bench now? I think they signed the young Argie CF and he's had a couple of minutes here and there but they're very thin on the ground next few weeks in most areas.

We've had injuries to four major first team players this season and our bench still looks fairly strong so that's one advantage we should have in next month compared to Spurs and increasingly Newcastle.

Biggest squad depth advantage Villa got over Spurs is at centre back, which also is an issue with Romero suspended for three games and van der Ven obviously out for a while. It's where Spurs fans demand strengthening in January and was upset about at transfer deadline. Club made the decision to let Davinson Sanchez go even if he clearly was needed as a squad player. Faith being put in two England U18 CBs Ashley Phillips and Alfie Dorrington.

Lot of talk about Spurs avoiding injuries, however we went into the season with Bentancur, Lo Celso, Sessegnon and Bryan out. Perisic out for the season early on while looking very strong and important. Solomon as well. A lot of the players that can play out left. Maddison, Son and Richarlison playing with issues and having to be managed.

Thats not really an excuse

We finished ahead of them last season when we were not in Europe and they were

I don't understand what point your making. Spurs had no reason to play a weaker team as no europe. We do as we have europe to juggle with that.

Thats only reason we lost to Everton if we had a full strength team we would have won comfortably

You cant seeiously say lo celso bryan and sessagnon are big misses. Only bentacur is a big miss for you

If you want to try compare our injuries to yours it would be romaro and bentacur out for season and injuries udogie/davies and kuluveski where they have hardly featured this season with ramsey and moreno

Beaten 4-1 at home
Lost their best defender, who is integral to how they play, to serious injury
Had two players sent off (their other first choice centre back is out for 3 games)
Potential injury to Maddison

...But yeah I think on some level they were the REAL winners! 😂

Spurs under Ange will see something similar to us under UE. He's a good coach.

But like many - he's only a few injuries away from playing players out of position to keep them on the pitch.

Son is injury prone and Richarlison has scored less goals than Cash. Their CB situation aside from their top 2 is unenviable.

Healthy - they'll be a threat and they're already knocked out of one cup and not in any competitions so they should be fresh!

They did the thing!

Feel a bit for them as I do like the way they playing under Ange.

Also coincides right when their schedule gets difficult so may see them near midtable by the time the new year rolls around and then they are going to be without Son and Bissouma for the asian and afcon cups.
