Villa87
Should ban the prick for the rest of the season. Disgrace.
Jimzk5
How can you have any faith in the fa doing the right thing and hitting him with a heavy ban when they didn't even reprimand Ferdinand for the cynical trip on torres last week, Christ in december fellaini headbutted shawcross twice and swung 2 punches at him and got a 3 match ban that should have been 10. The_Steve
Fair play to John Carver. Had to be stopped by his own staff from confronting McManaman.

privateer
First time I've seen the "tackle". **** outrageous. Was it the Referees Association Annual Acid Binge Party on Friday or something? It seems every word removed officating this weekend has either been bunged or is still tripping.
Milfner
Can he be disciplined after the game? Hope so. That looks intentional to break a leg It really isn't though, is it? Watch the way his leg moves, it's a rounded action, he's trying to clear the ball, which he almost does. If you actually watch it, he even gets a piece of the ball. It definitely is not intentional at all. Stop talking shit.
Dr_Pangloss
Disgusting tackle, I hope someone ends McManaman's career, he doesn't deserve to play professional football.
The_Steve
It's dangerous play, intent is irrelevant. If the referee was doing his job that'd be a red card and a 3/4 game ban.

OutByEaster? Posted March 17, 2013 Moderator Share Posted March 17, 2013 Good old Halsey - not prepared to let another referee steal his thunder this weekend. He's kept up his grand old tradition of sending people off when they're furious becasue of his errors. It's not just McManaman who should be suspended after this game. I wonder if Wigan will take him off? If not, I can see someone getting after him in the second half.

StefanAVFC
If one of our players had done that I'd be sickened. Don't know how I could cheer for them.
OutByEaster? Posted March 17, 2013 Moderator Share Posted March 17, 2013 i think that angle takes away any element of sympathy for the dirty bastard. He's gone deliberately over the ball there for me.
The_Steve
That angle shows you how reckless it was. No place for it on a football pitch.
StefanAVFC
No class from Martinez either. Mcmanaman didn't show any remourse or apology either. Why am I so angry about this!? Seriously.
OutByEaster? Posted March 17, 2013 Moderator Share Posted March 17, 2013 Halsey might be helping us here - if he can build up an air of nastiness through his bumbling hostility, we could see Wigan pick up an injury or a suspension or two.
