Some Scottish stuff.

Celtic blew a 2-0 lead and lost 3-2 against Ross County.  Their lead at the top of the SPL has been cut to 5371 points.

Rangers lose 2-1 at home to the mighty Annan Athletic. Their lead at the top of Scottish division 3 has been cut to 3485 points.

Stirling 9-1 East Stirling.  Bit shit losing like that to local rivals, isn't it?  They aren't from the same town though, Stirling are the town team, East Stirling take their name from the county of Stirlingshire and they play 15 miles away.

Plenty of goals again in the Scottish 3rd div again, only Elgin Peterhead let down an over 2.5 goals accy. Last week there were at least 4 goals in every game in that division.

Timings of Wigan's three goals against Everton.  Two hundred seconds or so by my count, probably less if you only include time the ball was in play.  With 35,000 people at the game, what are the odds of somebody nipping for a piss and 0-0 and missing three goals?

**edit**

Zlatan with more goals for PSG too.  Scored twice today, which means 30 in 35 since signing for the club (24 in 25 in the league) which is prolific by anybodies standards.  PSG are still only just top of the French League though, it's looking like a four horse race between PSG, Lyon, Marseilles and St Etienne. It must be nice for people of a certain age to see St Etienne back at the top of the table considering their history.

watching highlights of QPR/Sunderland. Only one team looked like Championship bound and wasnt QPR. horrible performance and a manager that looked clueless.

The MON myth is slowly being destroyed especially with United, Chelsea and Newcastle in next 4 games

Sunderland bottom of the form table at the moment.   They have Norwich at home next, which they simply have to win because their next few games after Norwich are Manchester United (H), Chelsea (A), Newcastle (A), Everton (H) and then us (A)

They could be in deep shit by the time they turn up at Villa Park.  Six points is a decent cushion at this time of year but it's not a completely safe one.

There was definitely some tired defending, the first player who stepped out to challenge Messi was kinda phoning it in, but the control and movement were excellent. The finish was exquisite.

51 goals in 41 games this season, Barcelona still have a minimum of 13 and a maximum of 18 games to play depending on how the Champions League goes.  He might not beat 73 goals this time but you would fancy him to be close if Barcelona beat Milan and don't run out of games.

watching bits of that schalke v dortmund game now, great game, atmosphere is superb, draxler looked better than gotze tonight IMO 19 years old playing his 100th league game!

Gotze is only 20, has 20 full international caps and two title medals.   The level of young talent coming out of Germany at the moment is frightening. We are being left way behind.
