StefanAVFC
If Stoke win tonight we're safe, cause of Sunderland's fixtures. They play Southampton next so one of them will definitely be below us going into the last day
HeyAnty
How did Gardner ever get near our first team. Probably score 2 now after I said that

StefanAVFC
If Stoke win tonight we're safe:) I don't think we are ? How do you work that out Because Sunderland and Southampton play each other, keeping at least one of them below us. And they have harder last day fixtures. Obviously it's not mathematical. Just my feeling.
myb
We beat Chelsea and were safe. You would have thought so, but the worrying thing is that if... Sunderland beat Stoke, Wigan beat Swansea, Stoke beat Spurs, Norwich beat WBA; Newcastle win at QPR; Southampton win or draw at Sunderland; Wigan win at Arsenal, Norwich win at Man City, Newcastle beat Arsenal, Southampton beat Stoke, Sunderland win at Spurs, Fulham get 3 points or more off Liverpool and Swansea, and Wigan beat Villa we could still be relegated on goal difference even if we beat Chelsea 8-0. I’m an absolute nervous wreck just thinking about how easily this could happen... And if my aunty had a dick she'd be my uncle. Your comment of how easily this coud happen is ludicrous. If it was easy we'd all be down the bookies to get the 10,000 to 1 they'd be offering on getting those 15 results correct Has everyone completely missed the irony of the post? I know it's the interweb and all, but seriously, think before you type!!

Just my feeling. So basically were not safe at all then Thanks for clarifying I think we're safe without this result anyway. There are teams below us in worse form. But a Stoke win confirms it FOR ME. Opinions and all that. So Sunderland losing. What happened to all these "nailed on" victories? And this. They may very well come back to win, even with ten men. Football is like that you see, nothing is ever certain or predictable. All you can do is give yourself the best chance you can and of late we've certainly done that.
