Hard to argue with that Morpheus.

The table in mid November is significant. It's not a blip.

We are in the **** relegation zone which is unacceptable.

It's not working out for Lambert is it.

Without naming names, ive seen some posters regularly shouted down for airing what were considered overly negative views, being told they were premature and needed to wait. Unfortunately i think they just knew what was coming, not signing a single player who could be relied upon to do a job and expecting us to be better than we were for the second half of last season has proved a recipe for disaster. The difference this season is we try and play more attacking football, which may be more attractive but leaves us leaking more goals. We also have less experience than last season, quite frankly the defence and midfield are collectively championship standard. Only way out of this is a couple of key signings in January. Going abroad is risky, could end up with a benteke but then again could be a holman, we may be left with little choice though as jan is not a great time to get players from your PL rivals, not to mention the fact most decent players wont want to come to us.

I think the panic button on a lot of people's keyboards has worn out they press it so damn often.

**** hell you try and win an argument by saying bring back Heskey ! We lack experience and need some. Even you must see that.

No, we lack quality.

As far as today's result goes, posters can blame the ref and linesman and they can blame the fact that we were playing Man City. Irrespective of the officialdom, it puts into perspective our cup win against Man City. It also puts into perspective where the club is at the moment. We are in dire trouble.

If we lose against Reading and believe me at the moment that is a very real possibility then Lambert must be sacked. I was concerned when he first arrived that he would turn us into Norwich. He has gone one step worse than that and at exactly the wrong time for our club. We needed stability with Premiership signings and we got instability with lower league and foreign signings who have taken time to become acclimatized and within that time we haven't picked up the points we should have in a fairly easy start to this season. It was quite simply the wrong time to introduce so many less premier experienced players to our team when the players already in our first team have proven over the past two seasons not to be good enough. So what we have now is young players learning to live within the rigours of the Premiership beside players who don't have the qualities to to help them.

Lose our next two games and Lambert must be sacked paving the way for Redknapp to come in and weave his magic before it is too late.

What would you rather have. Redknapp being able to attract the type of player that Lambert couldn't to keep us up, or, Redknapp going to QPR, keeping them up at the expense of our Villa and that in the next two or three games will be a very real choice that our chairman will have to make.

Not this "we needed Premier League experience" thing again. That is NOT the problem. Benteke had no Premier League experience and he's been a revelation, for example. Our problem is lack of quality and believe it or not there are quality players out there who don't play in the Premier League.

And please stop going on about Redknapp. It's getting incredibly tiring. "Weave his magic"? FFS.

Pretty much spot on in all regards.

Get some **** perspective, we expectly lost to the Man City who haven't lost in their homestadium in league for almost two years. We lost 5-0 because of horrible refereiing, we probably would've lost but probably not more than 1-0 or 2-0. We have played very well in some games, like against Newcastle, Swansea, Sunderland and againt Manure. We were in the game against Man City until the first penalty.

And when Lerner haven't invested in the team? We bought players with 20+ million in the summer, and that's more than most teams in the league. Lambert has already said that he will buy some players in january so get a **** grip.

Are you whiners and doom-mongers even fans of the club?

We expected 0 points against Utd and City and guess what? We have 0 points.

Nothing has really changed since we won (unexpectantly) at Sunderland. We were unlucky against Utd but the signs were encouraging.

As stated above, period between now and end of year is key.

away at city was a tough ask, we have another very tough game against arsenal coming up but at least we're at home for that one. then we have a few games where we can pick up some wins.

It is irrelevant now.

After reading the last 10 pages we are now Relegated and everyone is leaving in January.

How dare you look for the slight bit of optimism!
