General Krulak here:

1. VERY exciting game today! I won't even go into the "might have been" scenarios...it is what it is. We are 6th and in Intertoto. GREAT credit must go to MON and the Squad...to Randy and all the folks at Villa Park and, OF COURSE, to the FANS! In a word, they have been SUPERB all season. I thank you! Randy thanks you! MON thanks you! The Team thanks you! The people at Villa Park thank you!!

2. Dale: I was going to answer but Paddy and Ricardomeister gave very complete and good answers. (Thanks to both!!) Disabled fans are important to the Club and we do our very best to help them. Parking is VERY tight so Paddy's solution to that issue is one to think about.

3. Villafromluton: I am ready to listen...but need to be very careful about passing names to MON. The last thing in the world I would want is for him to think that I am now into his scouting combine...or that I do not think he has access to the good, up and coming players. At the same time, he is never one to turn his back on a prospect.

4. Paulmcgrathsknees: Bonds is not respected here in the US (except for San Franciso) because of his use of steriods. He was a great player without the "juice"...he destroyed his reputation by taking it. Vick is a superb athlete but, like Bonds, has lost his following due to how he handled his private life. He is going to jail and that never helps with the fans. NE will not lose their titles because of "spy gate."

5. b6bloke: I have no solid numbers for waiting list...1000 may be the number now but I don't know that for certain. I will ask Nicky Keye.

6. I have not been made aware of any plans for an affiliation with another Club in a lower league.

7. NZvillanman: Thank you for your comment. I am not in a position to say that the Club can provide Villa Kit for your young lads. We obviously have similar requests every year. Please contact Lee Preece and let him know what you are seeking.

8. Highlight of the season for me????? 5-1 at the Holte End!!!

For listening, and for following through with promises.

General, disappointing referreeing today, the dives they put in and how on earth we didnt get 2 penalties was shocking, how they got their two free kicks were shameful, Lucas neill dived with gabby 1-2 yards away.

fantastic to see Mellberg gave us tops, i stayed back hoping he'd come out with the team to the away supporters and was gutted that they didnt but oh well.

my friend polly went to the game and didnt get a mellberg top and was gutted, i went back to ask for her and they said look shes got one, but its her own mellberg top so shes mega gutted as shes swedish and loves the guy :(, worse still some fans got 2 tops which want really on when she couldnt get one :-(

all in all a wonderful season, please thank randy for all he has done for this club and you have done some amazing work, one day ill buy you a pint :)

Hi General,

Had a fantastic day at Upton Park today, even though we didn't get the win we deserved. Bright sunshine, Mellberg shirts, and a great game of football (if you ignore the ref). What a season we have had, I'm so pleased we've made up ten places in the past two seasons. It's shows the ambition and drive of the Club, and how much quality we now have in the team. I firmly believe we will only go from strength to strength, keep up European qualification for the next two seasons and look at breaking that top four. Please pass on my thanks to MON, the team, Randy, yourself, everyone behind the scenes, and for today in particular, Nigel Reo-Coker. He never let the boos and jeers get to him and played out of his skin. A model professional who has contributed so much to our progress.

UP THE VILLA!

General, as you may know, David Gold was in tears today, could you please call him and tell him how to run a football club. Perhaps if he wasn't so flippant about your credentials he would be more respected by his own fans.

Come to think of it General, perhaps you should demote him to David Bronze....

Thanks to you too General.

No-one in the Premiership (perhaps world of football) has a relationship with the board like we do with you guys, it really is fantastic having you at the club.

It's been a great season, we're progressing rapidly. Everything at the club is perfect in terms of how we have moved forward since August 2006.

Hi General,

this is first time post, have managed to read most of this thread (and that has taken some doing), firstly hope all is well with you and your family

- thanks to all at villa for a fantastic season, as a season ticket holder in the upper holte have wacthed some great football, gutsy performances which have helped us to get where we have ended up today (unfortunately not 5th but seriously not far off), through reading the thread I just wanted to acknowledge the work off field that has been addressed, the mosiac is beautiful, the training ground should invite quality players and there is now such a good feeling back at villa.

todays game - referee was awful, as was linesman, but even a win would not have been enough but we still have had a good season. Mellberg's gesture was absolutely brilliant (brought a tear to my eye), if there's any chance please pass on the thanks to him. Also can you pass on thanks to George who was in charge of our coach (#7) - he was absolutely fab today - came up and down coach to chat with the fans and took the time to listen - I remember him from a recent tour and again then he was very friendly and full of love for the club.

Can I also emphasis the point of more options for women clothing range - have all the shirts this season and I understand the late deal meaning no women's wear, but still think the current options are not that great.

Here's to a busy summer (especially transfers - though hopefully not our number 6!)

Cheers General, I still don't quite believe this thread exists, the board is amazing, the club is amazing. Just got to sort my ST renewal now. Have the packs gone out?

Hi General,

I just want to add my thanks for your service to us fans during the season. Its still unbelievable to have someone of your stature at the club willing to come on here to answer and help with our questions.

Also I have recently become the proud owner of a Cleveland Browns shirt (Cribbs 16) and consider myself a full fledged Browns fan (used to support Falcons).

Keep up the great work

Thanks

General,

My thanks to everyone at the club for a wonderful season. 71 goals is just an amazing return. And what a wonderful gesture from King Olof to the travelling support yesterday. Simply wonderful and shows how this club, our club, has become a very special, unique club in a footballing world of greed and chasing the big buck. 6th place is, once again an improvement and tbh the way the intertoto works now it is practically european football next season, and whilst being cautious I know MON will take nothing for granted.

Have a wonderful summer break along with the squad and MON, and after 2 seasons this really is just the beginning of our rise to where we deserve to be.

UP THE VILLA!!

Stewie

General,

have previously asking you to thank the first team for a brilliant season, but also meant to also extend that to our youth team (who are showing a great deal of promise and have achieved a lot this season) so please a thank you to the coaching staff and the youngsters for a job well done and also the reserve team for a successful season as well. I think the season has flown by, can't believe it is already finished! Looking forward to the renewal of my season ticket in upper holte and trying to figure out which transfer rumours hold any weight!

A couple of queries:

1. From my understanding (raeding previous posts on this thread) JPA will not be returning to Villa Park in the near future but I and others still feel we did not got a chance to say goodbye to him and if it was possible would love to see him back in a friendly if it were possible. Also along the same vein - Lee Hendrie, Ian Taylor will anything planned for them this summer (I know its a bit early to ask especially now Intertoto will mean having additional games but I still think they were good servants for our club especially the legend that is Ian Taylor) - I am unsure who gave him Ian the opportunity to write a page in the program but think this is a nice touch. Hoping also that Barry gets the testimonial and all the cr@p that l'pool have caused does not prevent this - wondered if there were plans to tie this all together?

2. A reminder on food - would be great for more veggie options (at least we have chips tho - we didn't stop off down at west ham yesterday - their food had nothing, so was starving when got back to brum last night!)

Again thank you (and everyone else associated with Villa), this has been a season to bring back optimism and pride!

General Krulak here:

1. Legendary_10: Simply put, our focus will be on 3 areas...1) Improving the Squad so we can continue to challenge the top. 2) Improving the catering and distribution of food and drink...to include variety. 3) Improving infrastructure at Villa Park and Bodymoor heath...to include the store.

2. Number 4: Thank you for your comments and yes, we recognize we need work in the ladies area...clothing on sale.

3. We have found it very tough to get with players after they leave.

4. I will be traveling to Minneapolis, MN tomorrow until Thursday. I then fly to B'ham over the weekend and will be at Villa Park all next week. I will be back on net on thursday and all the time whilst at Villa Park. Over the summer I, along with Randy, will be making frequent visits to Villa....lots of work to do.
