Its a case of whether Clough’s playing career is as good as it sounds; 251 goals in 274 games, but only two caps. Cruyff is clearly the standout player, but in terms of management; he was only at the top level clubs which imo is going to be easier than Derby County or Nottingham Forest... Its a shame his career was affected by two stadium disasters because he would have certainly won more with Liverpool as a manager if it wasnt for the European ban following Heysel and the stress on a personal level following Hillsborough.
