Greatest Player Greatest Manager combined

I think Barcelona’s achievements are great, but to take two unknown mediocre teams to win titles and then take one to win European Cup is something else... Its a case of whether Clough’s playing career is as good as it sounds; 251 goals in 274 games, but only two caps. Cruyff is clearly the standout player, but in terms of management; he was only at the top level clubs which imo is going to be easier than Derby County or Nottingham Forest...

No calls for MON :D

to be fair to deschamps he's not a million miles away -

league - 8

cup - 4

european cup - 2

WC - 1

Euros - 1

if he can get a stint at a good club side before taking over from blanc as the national team boss and get his hands on this next crop of good young french players...

He only won the champions league once; he was part of Tapie’s match fixing team at Marseilles...

George Ramsay*.

His skill as a player revolutionised the game in England.

As an administrator, he helped create the world's first super club and won 6 league titles and 6 FA cups.

*(Discounting the fact that he was technically the secretary not the manager)

Kenny Dalglish. Liverpool's greatest ever player, won plenty as a manager. Its a shame his career was affected by two stadium disasters because he would have certainly won more with Liverpool as a manager if it wasnt for the European ban following Heysel and the stress on a personal level following Hillsborough.
