sir_gary_cahill
how far do you think he is from the first team? It's tricky because unlike players such as Rooney and Rodwell he isn't powerful and would get steam rollered in the first team at a young age. It's probably a few years away yet. thanks mate

rosenthal
Don't the top 2 go through? Think so, but Rosenborg can still go past Villa
JulieB
Don't the top 2 go through? Yes IIRC. Sir Jack mentioned it on comms on the highlights of last week's game on AVTV
JulieB
Daniel Johnson looks like a great prospect he is superb, he just needs a chance in the 1st team As I said... Him and Burke looked the real deal already at Walsall Friendly 2nd half. I am surprised Johnson hasn't had a shout for England U21s but then again I know he's also of Jamaican decent, so maybe he'll opt for them. sir_gary_cahill
that's an interesting point julie, i'm not sure who he'll opt for, either jamaica or england i suppose, hopefully england, i think he's easily good enough, he's excellent

rumourmill
good news today rosenborg lost 1 nil to fenerbache , this leaves us 3 points clear of rosenborg with 1 game to go each , both still to play ajax
quizme
Rosenborg needs to beat Ajax with a few goals and we needs to lose to Ajax with a few goals to NOT qualify. Dont think that´s gonna happen. IMO we are through to the knockout stages, well done boys!
SonicVillan
7pm KO tonight, try and get down there and support the next generation if you can!
sir_gary_cahill
is it at vp?
SonicVillan
It is, £3 for ST Holders, £4 if not. Absolute bargain. Villa's promising youth aside, there's always a chance that watching the Ajax youngsters, you could be watching a few players who can on to really make it. SonicVillan
I would imagine so, but I think it's just the lower Trinity Road that is open so there's a chance it will sell out.
tinker Posted November 17, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted November 17, 2011 Great to get these games on a pay as you watch tv channel/ stream. The apathy with the A team (and football in general) i think there is a fair bit of interest in the youth/reserve set ups atm.
