Tegis Posted August 13, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted August 13, 2014 Bronco LB Danny Trevathan cracked his knee, will be out for 2 months. Not good for us as LB are our weak spot, especially depthwise. Good thing it's wasn't worse. Heal up Danny and remember not to do this again

Tegis Posted August 25, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted August 25, 2014 Matt Prater suspended 4 games for being a drunk again. (And sporting a HUGE beer-belly in preseason, and playing crap) Welker concussed again. Glorious news And one has to feel for Sam Bradford. Torn ACL again

Milfner
Josh Gordon banned for a year for smoking weed. Should've knocked his wife out instead, that only gets you a two-game suspension.

I hate the NFL at times. When America differs so greatly in its criminalisation of cannabis, to ban arguably the leagues best WR for it is just atrocious. BerniesElbow
I'll be honest, I'm not surprised. It was Gordons third offense. He would have been really lucky to get anything LESS than a full seasons suspension. I dont know why the guy cant just drink a beer? Oh, wait. He DOES drink beer. He got arrested in May for driving under the influence. So much talent and he just wants to party all the time.

tonyh29
Lot of pundits tipping The saints for a Superbowl appearance this season ... They look strong and hopefully learnt their lesson from last season ( throwing away a victory over the patriots etc ) I don't see the seasquawks retaining it this year , i think teams will be more alert to their brand of football and how to counter it

StefanAVFC
I disagree. Last year we got there on our defence. I don't see the drop off being that dramatic and our offence looks at least twice as good this year. Also we retained 17/22 starters from the SB which rarely happens/

Meh no Brees , no Graham etc they were in wind down mode which they always do ... I saw them lose to the Jags at the dome in pre season a couple of years ago ... And let's face it nobody loses to the jags Edited August 30, 2014 by tonyh29
Tegis Posted August 30, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted August 30, 2014 Kevin Vickerson and Duke Ihenacho released by the Broncos. Those two will not have trouble finding teams. The others were more or less fillers
