LockStockVilla
Bradley is quite mobile and works hard in midfield so im hoping the Makoun Bradley partnership can be effective

BOF Posted February 5, 2011 Moderator Share Posted February 5, 2011 Johnny boy will have to take the bad with the good. And unfortunately today he only made 3 tackles in the entire game of which none were successful. Compare that to 14 made and 11 successful from Petrov. Zero is, quite obviously, not enough from a central midfielder even if his primary job is passing. He did well passing it, as did Stan. J2M just needs to get himself more involved with the breaking up of opposition play and he'll be grand.
villacrossthemersey
Makoun looks to get rid of the ball as soon as he receives it - is that what world class players do?
B36villa
very good game on a whole some lovely passes most notably the long ball to downing in the second half but did get sloppy last 10 - 15 mins some loose passing nearly cost us on the break a couple of times. These stats are clearly wrong, Makoun is world class and Petrov is a disabled chimp who was awful today. Sorry, I'm posting for effect, but the facts speak for themselves and show up those who jump on either the 'messiah' or 'scapegoat' bandwagons. BOF Posted February 5, 2011 Moderator Share Posted February 5, 2011 Well, yes quite, steell. It's never a good idea to go 100% in either direction. It's all still bedding in at the moment though. Hopefully they can sort it out soon because the next 4 fixtures will dictate our season.
Razor
Far too good for us, on a different level to the rest of the team. His one touch passing is something i've never seen at Villa Park before.

Ryan.
Deary me too good for us? Any player that made no tackles in a game would be having an off day but for it to be a CM is criminal!!

Razor
If the rest of them didn't give it away so much we wouldn't need to make so many tackles.
Moneill
Cannot believe people think he had a bad game. He has been our best player by far in the last two games. Also thought petrov was shocking.
