shambles
just proves again oneil is **** heskey no other explanation! He's done it because he is trying to make sure that we don't lose the point firstly, and maybe nick a goal on the counter with Gabby's pace. Heskey is only on because he will help out more at the back when the ball's are flying in. Can't we play with a 5 man defence then? He's a mediocre striker and a mediocre defender. If we're that bothered about shoring up the defence play a good defender and no attacker. We'd still pose the same threat as if we played Heskey. 4Serious
If you're happy with a point from a game like this you don't deserve 4th, nor will you get it. If you get a point, that's a fine result, fair play. But if you're happy with one then you're a long way away from where you need to be. Rubbish. AVFC-Prideofbrum
**** rubbish Sorry, but that was inches away. Very close. Apparently it was close Still, should be hitting the target from there, every time Depends. In that situation, getting it up and over the wall is very difficult skill. Had he hit the target, he'd of scored, unless he chose to miss the wall out and go the keeper's side which would hit the target but would make it comfortable for Sorenson to deal with. paddy
That was all from our corner then. How difficult can it be as a professional footballer to put a decent ball into the box? So many (not just ours) are nowhere near being a decent delivery.
scottyav
seems oneil has scared himself shitless instead of saying **** stoke let them worry about our attacking capabilities
OutByEaster? Posted March 13, 2010 Moderator Share Posted March 13, 2010 The point might well not be the worst of results. The performance on the other hand is a real concern. Other than half an hour against Reading we've been very poor for a couple of games.
pete165
Tragic game attacking-wise. BUT Let's get this straight - Heskey has played well. He's worked incredibly hard, defended brilliantly and played BETTER than Carew, It's the BALANCE that's been wrong and no creativity from midfield, not Heskey's fault.
