He's currently on an Inter Milan board telling them that the first half didn't count and Spurs actually won the game 3-0!

:lol::lol:

gareth bale is to good for spurs, fair play to the lad used to be a pile of wank but is now looking the business.

How so?

He's a young, brilliant player playing at a Champion's League team. Given the rate he's improved since being at Spurs, he's still likely to be at White Hart Lane for another season while he continues to fulfill his potential before eventually moving on to one of the giants of world football.

There's not a chance of Daniel Levy doing business with City after the way they messed him about in the summer over the potential signings of Bellamy and Richards. The only English team that -may- have a shot at signing him would be Chelsea. But I reckon he'll end up at Barcelona or Real Madrid at the end of the 2011-2012 season.

Or maybe sooner.

He won't be at spurs next season. Don't be so sure that Levy wouldn't be interested, he's a businessman and the mark up profit on Bale going to city would be too good to turn down.

Your earlier claim was that Spurs would be humiliated in the group stages. Well, we're 2nd in the group and looking likely to qualify .... so that's another stupid prediction from you looking likely to dissolve like morning mist.

You also previously claimed that Spurs wouldn't even reach the group stages ... is there any end to your blinkered vision?

He won't leave before then, he only signed a new contract this summer, and neither Levy nor Redknapp will be willing to sell him.

Doesn't make a difference, if Bale wants to go which most players unfortunately won't turn down the money that City offer and with Spurs wage structure, then he will get his move.

Like Keane, Berbatov and Carrick before him

Entirely different scenarios.

Carrick only had 18 months left on his contract, so selling him for 16m profit was the only option Levy had.

Keane and Berbatov, Levy initially refused to allow either of them to leave, and had prepared dossiers to report both Man Utd and Liverpool to the FA. It was only after Ramos instructed Levy to sell them, that Levy caved in, as he had put all of his faith in Ramos turning Spurs into a Champion's League team.

Now with Bale, he's just signed a new contract, Spurs are in the Champion's League and are well positioned to maintain that position, as well as potentially building on it.

Any profit made on the sale of Bale would have to be offset against the loss of income for not qualifying for the Champion's League for the next season or 2.

Levy's a businessman, but he's also a Spurs fan. I'm not normally a betting man, but I'd be perfectly happy to put money on Bale being a happy Spurs player on September 1st 2011.

I think some of you are just hoping that he'll leave because both Barry and Milner left for the money in recent times.
