It's_your_round
1-1. We only score from set pieces and we won't score more than one of those again in this game and Wolves are well, a bit rubbish.
ClaretMahoney
Agree with TSV, prematch threads used to be 10 pages long with banter of who to start and what the score would be, lately it's not as good. I think we'll win this comfortably, 0-3. Carew, Gabby and Milner.
jonno_2004
Would like to see a bit of rotation for games like this, we need to keep the competition for places by giving players a chance to compete for places. - - - - - Friedel - - - - - - - Young - Dunne - Collins - Shorey Milner - ReoCoker - Delph - Young - - - - Gabby - Heskey - - - - As for this matchday forum, it's rubbish use it for archiving old threads and let us use the main forum.Shorey over Warnock? Are you mad?
TheSufferingVilla
Yes, yes I am so mad in fact that I've changed my mind: - - - - - Friedel - - - - - - - Beye - Dunne - Collins - Young Milner - ReoCoker - Delph - Young - - - - Gabby - Heskey - - - -
It's_your_round
No Cuellar? No Warnock? No Petrov? Heskey playing? He should be nowhere near the first team. Thank christ you aren't the manager.
sled
No Osbourne??? :?: :? You're all completely warped. OK, but seriously, I'd love to see Albrighton given a runout. Tomorrow would be ideal for it.
TheSufferingVilla
Top teams rest players and rotate the squad, obviously I'd love to see us put out the strongest 1st team week in week out but why have we spent 4 years moaning about having a small squad then not using the one we have and giving important players a rest when needed. It's_your_round
Because the likes of Shorey and Heskey are bloody rubbish.
TrentVilla Posted October 23, 2009 Moderator Share Posted October 23, 2009 There is no way in the world we should or will drop Warnock the way he is playing.

To be honest mate I think Tuesday is the time to give a few a run out. This is a local derby tomorrow and we need to take it seriously as anything can happen. Mr_Dogg
Yes, yes I am so mad in fact that I've changed my mind: - - - - - Friedel - - - - - - - Beye - Dunne - Collins - Young Milner - ReoCoker - Delph - Young - - - - Gabby - Heskey - - - - How bad do you think Wolves are? That team will not and should not be selected.
claretandblue77
for me it would be the trusted 4-5-1/4-3-3 --friedel-- l.young----collins----dunne----warnock --reo-coker-- --sidwell-- --petrov-- ----milner---- ----a.young---- ----gabby---- we need steel in the middle in the derby games, and i think our front 3 would really expose there weak defence. 3-0 villa
Chindie Posted October 23, 2009 VT Supporter Share Posted October 23, 2009 My money on the game says I'm predicting a Villa win, 2-0, both goals second half, preferably with Collins knocking the first one in. Cough.
Si.
We will beat the dingle shit. 2-

Jas
There is no way in the world we should or will drop Warnock the way he is playing. Agreed. MON will field the strongest XI.
Overdubber
Typical game for us to bodge up, but still I will go for the victory, 0-3 Villa. Have a feeling MON will go for the strongest side, which may result in a loss at Sunderland during the week. Hope not, but it would not suprise me too much. Gompedyret
This is a side we should beat comfortably. In other words, I'm quite worried.
P3te
this is exactly the type of game we shouldnt be resting anyone for wolves' biggest game of the season so theyre gonna be well up for it. we need to perform to our best if we're gonna get anything here imo
