Weekends Football 3/5 May

Recommended Posts

So spurs have got Burnley, Man City, Sheff Utd, Newcastle… I mean they’ll be very luck to get any more than 6 points from those. We’re 7 points ahead, with a better goal difference and we’re likely to get at least a few more points.

3 losses in a row Tottenham. They've as good as give it to us.

Not really. They were only so close to us because they hadn't played the top 3 and Chelsea yet.

Given the top 3 a game in the way we just couldn't. Except Arsenal and Man City.

They lost 4-0 to Newcastle weeks ago, they're nothing to do with it. They need at least a point from City to have any chance of finishing above us

The newcastle game is some stupid friendly a few days after the season ends.

I reckon they'll struggle with Burnley to be fair.

How long is it going to take before this inferiority complex nonsense stops? Who gives a Tom - Tit what others think? I know what we're about and where we stand in the History books of football. That, for me, is satisfying enough!!!

Liverpool should have buried Spurs further in goal difference to give us a little more comfort, but I really don't see Spurs overturning the difference.

So, realistically, we need them to drop just 2 points and we're set. A City-Spurs draw would be ideal...no title for City, we make the the CL.

Of course, we could take care of business next weekend ourselves if we still have 11 fit players at the club by then.

Just a bit annoying we couldn't have hung on for a point today, to extend the gap. But we got some luck last v Chelsea I suppose.

Should have won today and it would have all been sorted. But we just have to play like the Blind School against a team who couldn't buy a win for the previous six weeks.

No one wants Arteta to win the title mate. Just let Man City win it, it's as good as a fake win anyway.

An Tottenham ain't beating City anyway, not a chance.

We didn't deserve a point, tbf. Just wasn't at the races.
