Gymshark perhaps?

Owner is a huge Villa fan, and UK's youngest billionaire.

This was my thoughts on it when I heard new.

The thought had crossed my mind but I thought he was a bluenose.

I’m assuming it’s going to be one of Nike, Puma, Adidas… maybe New Balance?

They genuinely seemed impressed by the design of the new kits…

Exciting news….

New Balance makes quality gear across the board, but in terms of football shirt prestige, not yet. So probably 1 of the other 3, my guess is Adidas.

I'm leaning towards Gym Shark if the owner is a Villa fan. They said a new brand.

Sure… I don’t have much of a clue tbh 😂

I suppose Nike and Adidas would be seen as “big deals” and financially lucrative… followed by Puma.

Can’t think of anyone comparable or at that sort of level off the top of my head..

Newcastle secured a massive deal with Adidas… and since this is coming after that… and with Dan and Jacob commenting on it at this present time… I would assume it is kind of comparable? Could it be better??!

All just speculation really, we have no actual facts or information other than knowing that we are done with Castore and moving on to someone bigger and better…

Think they mean a new brand to one we’ve never had before mate.

Umbro, Reebok and Nike for me made our best kits. Let us hope we get an iconic design for our 150th year!

Can Umbro (not a fan, they make ugly stuff imo, like West Ham shirts) and Reebok offer financial lucrative (enough) deals to the club though? That’s the bigger factor here really…

I don’t see anyone on the level of Nike (Heck secured them for his NBA team), Adidas and maybe Puma in that sense… but I might be totally forgetting some…

I have no clue really 😂

I just listened to a podcast 😂

Yep, I took it the same way.

It’s a big deal and something impressive

they said the fans would be delighted too

you could feel the excitement in Dan’s voice 😆

so I can’t see it being an obscure or new manufacturer/brand at all…

I was just referring to our past, I know  Umbro and Reebok have fallen from the 90s era and not really in the mix any more.

👍

loved the Reebok ones

I love Adidas but not sure how the stripes would look on a Villa kit, it might look horrendous. I'd like Puma or New Balance. Puma design some of the best kits around imo, different designs and detailed.

New partnership with Villa (never had the manufacturer before) or a new brand?

Just someone new or different compared to Castore, imo at least…

not a new, unrecognised or obscure brand (how would “fans be delighted” then?)

Could be someone we’ve had in the past but much more lucrative this time around

🤷‍♂️
