Hopefully not relevant to us, but the teams coming down will be ...

Leicester dead and buried.

+ 1 of Spurs, Wolves or West Ham, with Spurs home to West Ham on this coming Sunday at midday.

Currently looking like Spurs being relegated unless they can beat West Ham by more than 2 goals, in which case West Ham go down instead. Wolves are piggy in the middle, and the Spurs v West Ham game keeps them safe unless Spurs can score at least 7 goals and West Ham lose the game by exactly 2 goals (so 7-5, 8-6 etc) in which case they all finish on -11 GD and Wolves go down on goals scored.

So yeah, Wolves are effectively safe.

Questions would be asked if that happened!

I wonder how many of our PL2 regulars will play in the U18 cup final versus playing in the playoffs.

On the basis that anyone who was still less than 18 last August is eligible for both teams, here are the candidates. 10 or more appearances being deemed a 'regular'.

Player  Apps
Feeney   22
Smith    17
Alcock   16
Kellyman 12
K.Young  11
Wilson   10

And how many of the senior & loan side players will come down as ringers to assist in promotion :D because if recent history is anything to go by, you can be damn sure Leeds will be packed full of players who've been barely visible in that side all season.

From looking at Leeds' squad, this is something like what I think they'll go with on Monday. They seem to favour a 442 or a 4231. Rightback seems to be their problem position. They've no settled right back and have used 5 different players there in the past 5 league games.

             van den Heuvel

Spencer   Moore    Monteiro   Chilikoa-Mullen

Allen     Gyabi      Gray        McGurk

          Perkins   Joseph

Mateo Joseph and Sonny Perkins are their hotshots, with 15 & 11 goals scored respectively this season. Perkins can operate as a right winger or inside forward a la the Traore/Bailey role.

I have Spencer at right back and he's listed as a forward on soccerway but he has operated as a rightback, centre mid and centre back this season.

Here are the more regular players in their squad.

              Age  Apps  Gls
GOALKEEPERS
-----------------------------
Klaesson       22    7    0
van den Heuvel 19    6    0
Christy        19    5    0

DEFENDERS
-----------------------------
Moore          19   19    1
Chilikoa-Mullen 18  15    1
Debayo         17   11    0
Monteiro       18    7    0

MIDFIELDERS
-----------------------------
Allen          19   19    2
Gyabi          19   18    2
McGurk         20   15    3
Crew           16    9    0
Gray           17    9    1
Snowdon        19    8    1
Ferguson       19    7    0

FORWARDS
-----------------------------
Mateo Joseph   19   19   15
Sonny Perkins  19   18   11
Morten Spencer 19   15    0

That'll be all of them then 😁 Nice strong team for the final.

Raikhy won't be playing for us on Monday, he's on trial with Leicester and played for their U21s last night against Man Utd.

Leeds' OS is saying they can't show it due to broadcasting restrictions.

So the Saturday 3pm moratorium seems to be gone, shafting lower league sides, but woe betide anyone trying to affect Premier League viewing figures with a PL2 tie. **** beggars belief.

Raikhy playing for us despite playing for Leicester on Friday and Lindley also starting despite recently being on trial with Cheltenham. Good to see Brad Young and Tommi O'Reilly back in starting line-up.

Zych, Kesler, Revan, Smith, Feeney, Lindley, Tommi O'Reilly, Patterson, Raikhy, Kadan Young, Brad Young,

Subs: Wright, Ealing, Alcock, Kellyman, Afoka

Leeds starting with Georginio Rutter, a player they paid £30m plus for and their record signing.

Well I never ...

"because if recent history is anything to go by, you can be damn sure Leeds will be packed full of players who've been barely visible in that side all season"

In their slight defence, he only turned 21 a few weeks back.
