You can talk about VAR and helping them out, and there is a big campaign now to respect the referees, to try and promote what a tough job they have in the modern age with all the camera angles and attention on their decisions. Bollocks. The state of refereeing in this country is a joke. I see it every other week at Villa Park. in fact when we are graced with the presence of a PL referee once in a blue moon it's even **** worse.
