I spoke to the guy a sorted it out, but you know Blackpool are now going to turn us over and i'm going cry. Blackpool were 7/1 BTW. On betfair I clicked the lay button (palace) and it said 'backers odds 1.5' I put in a stake of £10 and it said 'liability £5' So what does that mean for me if palace don't win? AVFCforever1991 Posted January 3, 2015 Share Posted January 3, 2015 (edited) Your liability is the amount you have to pay out and the stake is your potential profit, so if you lay against (bet against) Palace winning, then you will win £10 if it's a draw or dover win, because that was your stake.
