Football Betting 14/15

I am on the streak of my life with football and darts betting.

If I had any balls to put more than a tenner on bets I'd have won some serious money.

Haven't come off badly in a betting day for a month.

I love months like that, unfortunately for me I am having the exact opposite. The Golf is killing me (looking at you Rory!), which is where I have made most of my money in the past. Can't even think straight for my weekly £5 accy on the Prem games either :/

I might have gone a bit mad on my accumulator for tomorrow-

Put £2 on:

Villa to beat Swansea

Manchester City to beat West Brom

Southampton to beat Burnley

Tottenham to beat Leicester

Arsenal to beat Newcastle

Watford to beat Ipswich

Leeds to beat Blackpool

Huddersfield to beat Fulham

Brentford to beat Millwall

And for both teams to score in Bournemouth vs Middlesborough

Returns £559.65 if it comes in. I think they all have a decent chance of coming in, will do my bets for Sunday after tomorrow's games have finished as im unsure what to go for.

hmm, skybet boost is arsenal / southampton / tottenham at 4/1

after last week's win, I have the profit to give it a go, but less certain than this one.

I think you have to back Arsenal to beat Newcastle - given what's at stake for the season

Southampton v Burnley - definitely a toughie but Saints draw away to Burnley was as important as Burnley's win over Man City. Southampton seem to have recovered from their blip and despite Burnley's threat, I sufficiently think Saints will edge it.

Tottenham v Leicester - spurs were godawful against united, but leicester are so poor.

Maybe not enough to stick the full £25 on it though but a tenner on that for £50 is a fair flutter

I've never understood the logic of betting on your own team. Surely after last few seasons you avoid betting on us to actually win games at all costs especially in accas.

I used to back us in the past but had my fingers burnt a few times in the MON era when we did win a lot of games so have stayed clear since then.

I've learnt my lesson now!

I think there is value with QPR at 5/2 today after Evertons 3k+ miles return trip to kiev on Thursday night/Friday morning then down to London at some point yesterday!

Tempted with a tasty 12/1 Barney Rubble with Man Utd!

I had a badly needed win over the weekend, first time my 'banker' bet has come in for months.

Man City @  1/3
Arsenal @  4/7
Southampton @  9/20
Tottenham @  3/5
West Ham @  17/20
Chelsea @  4/9
Everton @  6/5
7 Folds, 1  bet * £5.00
= £185 return.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just spotted £2 in my bet365 account so had a silly double.

Elce 1-0 down with 20 to go were 51/1 to win, now they have just equalised... stupidly I had them in a double with a draw in the city/palace game (182/1)

Palace score, I'm actually pleased, more likely to draw now I reckon

High risk my friend, do not try this at home.

Seriously though on Bet 365 Palace were 25/1 to score before the 50 minute mark when they were awared the free kick so I had a bit of cash in the bank and though why not and put money on them twice. I can assure you 99% of the time it dosen't come off.

Might've been more but the 18/1 next goal to be a free kick disappeared just before I was going to put 6 quid on.
