St Mirren sign the Djemba twins...

St Mirren have signed former Aston Villa and Manchester United midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba, subject to international clearance.

After passing a medical with the Paisley club, the Cameroon international signed a deal until the end of the season.

The 32-year-old has played for Nantes, Burnley, Qatar Sports Club, Odense, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Partizan Belgrade.

Capped 24 times, he helped his country win the 2002 African Nations Cup.

He also featured at the World Cup in Korea and Japan in the same year.

St Mirren, who are ninth in the Scottish Premiership, signed Gregg Wylde during the January transfer window and also clinched loan deals forAberdeen's Josh Magennis and Newcastle's Adam Campbell .

The Buddies face Dundee United in the Scottish Cup at Tannadice on Sunday.

I saw him play for Partizan Belgrade when I was travelling this summer. He was the worst player on the pitch by miles (and they were playing against a part-time team who could only afford to have 11 players)
