Not really, if you want to win tournaments you need to beat the best teams.

I have seen a few mention his record as a reason he should stay but he has been incredibly lucky. The first decent team he meets in a tournament we lose.

I have only watched two games this World Cup. Wales v Iran and England v USA. I am not sure why I haven’t got the usual urge to watch as many games as possible. It weird. That said I will watch us against France to see if Southgate can actually beat a decent team.

Well said BOF, Lots of drivers manage to overtake each other at that corner but for some reason both Max and Lewis find it better to crash into each other rather than give a car width.

Incredibly poor from Max, let's hope Checco gets the chance to exact revenge next year. Obviously the Mercs had their engines turned up yesterday, just in time for the season to end. Ferraris have disappeared up their own exhausts.

If Red Bull and Verstappen are boycotting Sky then they should be fined and if it continues a points deduction. I have always thought the same when managers boycot a broadcaster.

What's really interesting is that the level of intolerance to Horner and his comments us similar to that I read on here about managers like Klopp, Mourinho etc. Sometimes I suspect he does it for a wind up if not just the fans but other teams, mind games if you like. I am that Toto has done it in the past too.

Played McGinn when totally out of form, didn’t replace Kamara when he could of used Marvelous. Continually played PC when EMI was consistently out performing him, and then there was last night, why not play Chambers at right back who hasn’t put a foot wrong if you are going to rest Cash. Konsa kept coming infield to his more natural position leaving acres of space for Fulham to exploit. I don’t feel pity, he was a terrible appointment who was way out of his depth and should have gone a month ago at least.

I think the decision to sack Gerrard came from above CP so was out of his hands. There was no due diligence on Gerrard or other options. Smith was sacked on the Sunday and Gerrard was offered the job on the Monday by Purslow. Terrible decision which he has to take full responsibility for
