We hope the manager can get the best out if him but if you arent great against a league 2 side you have to question if he will ever be good enough for a premier league start.

The thing is I don't think that's the problem. We were just to passive. It was as though we were going to win it was just a matter of time before we scored and then we scored after half an hour and we went into full on coast mode. Stevenage hardly played us off the park. We sloppily gave them a penalty and then couldn't defend a corner.

Terrible first half, second half was better but not great. Digne for me needs resting as his replacement did more in the short time he was on the pitch. Maybe give Ings a run before we let him go, his record is better than Watkins

Not really, if you want to win tournaments you need to beat the best teams.

I have seen a few mention his record as a reason he should stay but he has been incredibly lucky. The first decent team he meets in a tournament we lose.

I have only watched two games this World Cup. Wales v Iran and England v USA. I am not sure why I haven’t got the usual urge to watch as many games as possible. It weird. That said I will watch us against France to see if Southgate can actually beat a decent team.

Well said BOF, Lots of drivers manage to overtake each other at that corner but for some reason both Max and Lewis find it better to crash into each other rather than give a car width.
