If Lambert and Given don't mind working with each other, this could be a good move. Shay's got years of experience which could be invaluable. He'll also put his heart into if he knows his number is up at keeping goal in the higher leagues.

I really think that we've sleep walked into relegation. This entire season we hadn't been below 13th, now we've hit terrible form and it will take us a while to respond. Hard to see us collecting 2+ points. I think a team will go down on 36 points by the way.

Can we apply the Clough logic of if the manager goes, the man who hired him should go too? I think Lambert could've done better in some ways but I'm sick of managers being used as scapegoats. The problem is the one constant in all of this, the owner and the board.
