  1. I do rarely. It's pretty awful. I constantly play with people who never pass. I understand trying to dribble in the final third or occasionally taking someone on, but people will literally try to take on the entire team. So many times I have clear breakaways if my teammate would just pass the damn ball, but no they try to dribble and lose it. yup. Seems to be the way of drop in games. Had one or two games where people actually played as a team, was great fun. Would be fun to get a VT club going. But I doubt there will be enough people interested.
  2. A lot of moaning and groaning on VP. Must be a horrid place to play right now.
  3. More or less the lineup whole of VT has been crying out for.
  4. Wish the club would play the im not leaving video on the big screen tomorrow, before kick off. Just to warm people up.
  5. gabby kids ?? hehehe. 4 minutes of 80-95% of your Max heart rate workout followed by 4 minutes of 70% heart rate workout. Done 4 times in a row. Very effective way to improve your fitness.
  6. Not when he signed, Sherwood said he knew his Dad and had tried to sign him for Spurs. Hopefully he gets some sort of chance at least. Sherwood said many things.
  7. He has been disspointing so far this year. Still rate him. Will be intresting to see how he'll do under Remi. Think there is a gem to be unlocked in Westwood. Seriously lacking in confidence at the moment. And Woodytom, no one wins by you being right.
  8. Exactly this and for what it's worth in the in depth tactical analysis I read of Garde this is how he utilised his DM at Lyon. That is promising if thats the case. Maybe we'll see more consistent preformances from him from now on. As been mentioned he's great when he's at his best. Sanchez to Gil, Sanchez to Gil. Still think he would benefit from improving his fitness.
  9. If you run or sprint for 90 mins you cover more ground than if you jog for 90 mins. Unless international players have legs that are 3 foot longer than those in the premier league then I think your point is pretty flawed! You missed the point entirely. But that might me having problems communicating it in a good way. Naturally a sprint for 90 minutes would cover more ground then a jog. However football is not a flat out run. The players runs in intervals. Different tempo, different distance, different amount of rest in between intervals. It varies from sprints to standing still. When you sprint, you use anaerboic muscle tissue. In order to cover the high energy required to sprint, the body produces more lactic acid. If you're unable to process the lactic acid as quickly as its produced you'll experience fatigue. In general the fitter you are, the more lactic acid you will be able to process. This means that you'll be able to work at a higher intensity for longer period of time. Also you will be able to get rid of the lactic acid quicker when you drop down to a slower tempo. So the fitter you are, the higer intensity you will be able to play at over a longer period of time. You will also recouperate quicker, ready to go again for another sprint. So if I were to do two runs of 3km on two different days with a average fitness level. And i start run A with a sprint I will get high Levels of lactate quite quickly, and soon enough I'll have to walk for a while before I can sprint again. Most likely I will do run B the 3km quicker/cover more distance in the time i used for run A. If i do it at a even tempo that's right below the treshold of lactate levels my body can process, so I dont get stiff muscles/fatigue. However i cant controll the tempo of the fotball match, to match my lactate treshhold. So in a high intensity match, I will get fatigued faster, which disables me to cover the same distance over 90 minutes as I would in a lower intensity match. If i were to beat the B method with the A method. I would have to improve my fitness level to the extent that I could do it a sprint flat out or to a level where i could break it up in intervals and still have a higher avg. Speed then when I jog. All in all a longer distance covered over a period of time doesn't give you the whole picture of a players fitness. Especially when you add inn high intensity work. If you are to play at high intensity, you need higher fitness levels, even though you can easily cover 13km over 90 minutes. If you run more in one game then another, it says little about the intensity of it. Did this make sense? Do you get the point im trying to make? Typed it out on my phone and English is my second language, so it might be a bit messy.
  10. He's a good player. Sadly its only for 45minutes. Granted he has a colossal amount of work to do as a dm in a team that can't keep the ball. But he still seems to have a fitness issue. Correct me if im wrong, but: As for the international games covering a longer distance, its the intensity/tempo he covers the ground and not the distance in itself that's the problem. He acummulates to much lactic acid. I have no idea how they do training at the club, but if he's not doing it allready, he needs to hit some 4x4s every week. If we actually manage to keep the ball more he might be able to do full 90mins without doing extra work.
  11. ------------------Guzan(?)-------------------------------------- Hutton/Crespo--Richards-Llori/Okore-Amavi--------- -----------------------Westwood/Sanchez------------------- ---------Vertout/Westwood---------Gana------------------- --Aadama/Gil------------(Gil)-----Gil/Ayew/Sinclair---- -------------------Ayew/Gestede------------------------------ I'd like to see these players in some sort of combination depending on form and/or opposition. I'd stay clear of the rest of the players we got at the moment. In something what might be 4-3-3, 4-1-2-3, 4-5-1 or 4-2-3-1. Most importantly we need a first 11 that gets settled and used to playing with each other, or at least a spine of 8-9 players. With a gameplan and some smart subs and a manager that can get the best out of our new players I think we'll be be fine.
  12. I was thinking of Bradley yesterday actually. I wonder how an American manager would be viewed in England and if he'd be accepted by the players. Doing a great job in Stabæk at the moment. 2. in the league with a team that everyone thought would be relegated(its a shitty league on its way up, but still). Very highly thought of and respected by the players in the club, the club itself and other managers in the league. Wants full control and his own backroom staff. Would be delighted if he were to replace Sherwood.
  13. this selection is horrible. Nowhere near picking a team with good balance. Far to negative last match, extremely naive this time. Hopefully well see a great attacking team that we've been crying out for. However Chelsea away is not the right match to do that
  14. So the turned the pace of the game up by 100. Lofted throughballs are back, speedy players eats super Mario stars for breakfast. Basically fifa 15 again, just more arcadish.
  15. New patch rolled out today. Apparantly adding more pace to the game. Which is fine if its somewhere between whats now and in 15. Dribbling seems to be the way to go this year. I like that they've nerfed what they did, they just did it way too much. And made dribbling far to strong in the same process. Heck your defender gets wrong footed by default even if you read the game correctly. Refereing is a complete disaster. Same goes for the game overriding your passing direction. I enjoy mixing between passings the ball into the net and a more direct, pacey style of play. But dribbling not such much, which makes this game hard to enjoy at the moment. However playing two vs two is great fun if you're at the same wavelength as your teammate. Dont notice the things that annoys me with the game ås much much then. Crossing, corners and passing feels much better, simply because of the human movement instead of the AI
  16. If only he'd do what George Costanza does. The opposite.
  17. Said i wouldnt but it, but I did. Regret it. I Don't know if my aim is horrible, but I keep passing to the last player I ever wanted to pass the ball to . Therese always å better option im pointing towards(i think), but the game overruns my calls. Can't cross the ball anymore. Always ends up to close to the keeper, or behind my players. And oo so many soft pens. Really seem to be focused around dribbling this year. Oh and horrible offensive AI. Guess im just really shit at fifa 16.
  18. How deep is your love? Is it like the ocean? What devotion? AYEEEW.
  19. This isn't an Islamic country. What difference does that make? India isn't a Christian country but there are areas of it that are 90% Christian. What's the difference? There are plenty of "our lot" in the middle east. They don't fill cities but they're there. There's plenty of churches too. compare christianity in the muslim world to islam in the western world, dont need to say much more. Isn't about 10% of the Syrian population Christian? Theres a significant amount of christians in Egypt and Lebanon as well, as far as I know.
