We keep getting worse under Bruce. I don't think the players have much faith in him any longer. To paraphrase Guardiola i think(?) "As the same voice speaks over timrle, the words gradually loses their impact" The sooner we get someone in, the better. I think we'll see a dramatic change if we get someone who actually knows how to coach players. Who knows how to instruct them and get their ideas across. Someone who actually have a gameplay to implement.

Our wingers offer no threat. They are unable to beat a man and get around the defence. If they manage to get a cross in, the defence is all ready established and out forward is alone and isolated. Either bring other wingers on, or have the fullback overlap. Grealish is to deep. Besides there's too little movement infront of him. When he brings the ball forward. The players infront of him are stationary. There's no opposite movements. No incoming players from the deep. No one threathing the backroom. Just two wingers unable to beat their man. And an isolated striker. Way to easy to defend against.

I just read the ongoing discussion. But I 've had a read now. I get what you are saying, and believe its a good argument. It gives us an insight in how he thinks and what a does. However bunching two seasons together does that actually give us statistics that can tell us anything usefull? Does john terry and snodgrass tell us anything about our current seasons or its trajectory? I'd rather look at how we're doing in our current seasons.

Could be interesting with a central trio of McGinn-Birkir-Connor. With Grealish pushed up to left wing forming an attacking trio with Kodjia and El Ghazi. Grealish and Ghazi drifting in and/or swapping positions if need be. All three with the ability to take on players and get past defenders. McGinn and Connor offering a threat from outside the box, but also with the ability to pick out any of the front three players with a pass, and to bring the ball from midfield and into the attacking 3rd. Swap Birkir with Jedinak or Wheelan depending on what we're up against. Would allow us a back 4 with hutton - chester - tunzabe - elmo.

When I log into the site and click AVTV Live i get sent to the match center Aston Villa - Fullham last season. So I have to click my way towards todays game. The stream appears saying: you need a subscription(which I have), it then reloads and the window for the stream disappear. In short; I can't find the damned stream on the clubs website. I imagine I might do something wrong here. Could anyone send me a link direct to the stream? Im fumbling around like an idiot. The website is a bit messy to be honest. The stream works on the mobilephone app. However it does not have a chromecast function.

He has a very good overview of players around him. Sometimes he'd send of a pass, that looks sloppy, and with out a target. But it magically pass two three opposition players to land in a villa players feet. Anyone else noticed this? You're sure it's a missplaced pass, but oh no, its a good one!
