  1. JESUS **** CHRIST, ARE WE PHYSICALLY INCAPABLE OF SCORING 2 GOALS IN ONE MATCH?
  2. we desperately, desperately need a new stephen ireland chant. PS, ParisVilla (formerly known as rmjb999), a while back came up with an Albrighton chant in the tune of 'All Night Long'. which would be sensational
  3. Wasn't as bad as coming out of St Andrews last year
  4. ^^ nooo.. missed the boat. Jamiespud Pes 2011 and MW2
  5. No existing party of government will willingly stand up and admit that they got the entire thing wrong and simply say 'sorry' to all the people who have been imprisoned on account of marijuana crimes. I think if it could have been legal, it would have been made so in the 60s. But, here's hoping x

  7. Just got back from stoke, and as gutted as I am, some of the negativity here is pretty baffling: ''meltdown'', ''disaster waiting to happen'' etc. Thought we were O.K, but essentially unlucky. Ricky dunne looked shaky all game, I agree with the above about Cuellar for Bolton. The fact remains that we should have been 2 or 3 ahead by the end of the first half, failed to take chances, gave the stoke fans (who were poor all game) something to cheer about and paid the ultimate penalty. Oh well, lets demolish bolton
  8. I must say one of the most exciting prospects of Mr. Houllier's appointment is his apparently unmatched knowledge of young talent across the globe... Welcome Gerard, Stoke away obstacle 1!
  9. I'm not sure I understand the importance or relevance of this article; I personally am not at all frustrated with the manner in which the club has dealt with the situation. In fact, I find it comforting that our internal business is not being discussed and disected by the idiots involved with sports media.
  10. I've always liked Moyes but would honestly be shocked if we got him. Why would he want to leave a club of similar stature and a team he has built entirely by himself? Since BBradley's been ruled out i feel a lot better. Still, the prospect of Mark Hughes is still looming like a dark cloud
  11. Just sparked up a fat one. Gonna spend the next few hours browsing Villa videos on Youtube Ps - thought i'd share this with any other fellow Canoids
  12. Stephen Ireland is our friend, is our friend, is our friend Stephen Ireland is our friend, he hates Ireland
  13. I've provided my own counter argument. Woops
  14. Milner wanted to join us. Ireland didn't. Maybe it makes no difference. But we'll see. Not sure Dunne was over the moon about coming here originally, but his performance until the very end of last season was sensational
  15. I think the whole thing is risky and I'm a little sceptical. For a start, Milner was such a dynamic box-to-box midfielder, good tackling, excellent stamina, etc etc. Ireland and Petrov (potentially) in the centre of midfield worries me a little. All I hope is that Stephen Ireland is the kind of character who will want to show up his former employers by performing well/trying hard for us.
  16. A little dissapointed that Jimmy went straight to the tunnel at the end, didnt come over to the fans to say cheerio. His substitution was an emotional moment, he will be missed regardless of his replacement. Anyhow, best home performance for a long while. Hope we can combine those kind of performances with our generally excellent away performances for the duration of the season.
  17. I love the smell of optimism in the morning
  18. I hope I come round to Stewy this season. He's difficult to like - being a pussy, looking like a little rodent. and not very good. (yet) Come on wee man pull yourself together and give us some sort of return
  19. 10 ft. Ganja Plant - Blood Money Cosmonaut - At the drive-in
  20. Watching loads at the mo: Eastbound and Down - available on stagevu (as is everything). The Armando Ianucci Show and my personal favourite Time Trumpet. All of the above are fine, fine comedies
  21. a classic dilemma. change my mind about it on a daily basis. guess it rests on whether we trust MON to invest the potential money made from a milner deal wisely.
  22. If football manager is anything to go by we should invest our next 3 season's worth of revenue and transfer funds into getting guiseppe rossi, and then build a team around him. and then sell him for 60+ mil, and buy a mediocre team with the proceeds. done.
