I did one of those predictor things on the BBC site yesterday and although I know it's pointless as results could go whatever way, it ended with us going into the final day needing a point against Norwich away and hoping Arsenal beat WBA at the Hawthorns. What an exciting Sunday that will be!

I think it's exciting! I decided a long time ago not to get too worked up about what goes on a Villa and wherever they end up the club will ALWAYS have my support. It's not my fault we are shit and there's not a single thing I can do to change that fact.

Last season RL had to spend 18 million on Bent to keep us in this league, this season we don't have that luxury. And to those who believe "the law of averages" states we will pick up points between now and the end of the season have clearly not been paying attention to the form of the likes of Liverpool and Wolves recently.

The problem we have is that Villa lack any fight, the oposition know if they get at us quickly and get an early goal our players will begin to hide as they have done so recently. If we could get the first goal against Stoke or Bolton there might be a different mentality but the painful truth is that we lack any creative spark that makes the difference, therefore we are easy pickings. This difficult run of games could not come at a worse time as confidence and moral will sink to new depths and our Management and Coaching staff do not have the time to turn the tide. Our young, depleated squad just cannot cope with the pressure of avoiding relegation and I unfortunatley fear the worst.

You'll lose and it will be costly. If you have any less than 9 points it really isn't worth it. I don't have any points, I've driven 30,000 + miles every year for the last 15 odd years and in that time only picked up 3 points on 2 occassions. I don't drive fast and I don't think that I am above the law, but for some reason this penalty feels particularly unfair, as if I am being used to swell the Government coffers, as motorists always are. I'll decide when the penalty notice arrives.
