I thought we did need another striker until Lambert said that Kozak and Benteke should be back in a few weeks. If we sell/loan out Bent I would say we should be looking at bringing someone in but not if our injury concerns aren't that bad. We need someone to fill Cole's position when he gets injured for 10 games.

Was he not being linked to some top sides? Linked to Southampton. Don't see why we couldn't bring him in.

Not massively. It annoys me when a quality player goes to a club managed by Harry Redknapp. Can't stand him.

I look at Pulis and how he has acted and actually think that Lambert deserves more credit for how he has acted under Lerner. Pulis is throwing his toys out of the pram because of his signings, on the day they sign Martin Kelly. He wouldn't stick around for more than a week if he was our manager.

Start at 10m and see what we get. Then chuck 6m at Celtic for their CB and get a good player in on loan to improve our attacking options. Simple.

Van Dijk would be a good signing if Vlaar leaves.

More creativity is needed in the team. Really want to see Grealish in the team. The striker situation really depends on when Benteke and Kozak are coming back. If not for a while we should be looking to bring someone in, especially if Bent is off.

Well lets hope he provides Lambert with 30m to bring in 3 quality players. Somehow I doubt it.

If he is available I would be all for us making a move for Wickham. Can't see Helenius coming back and we do have a nice number 9 shirt up for grabs. Wickham seemed to be more than just a big target man for the 2nd half of last season.

Someone on TBAR has said that Carlos Sanchez is flying in today and the deal could be complete by Monday. If he's a solid DM then this is good news.

About £5m for the lot. Then actually for 5m we have a decent (and experienced) LB, and 2 young LB's who could still turn out to be decent. Not too shabby.

Would be interesting to know how much Lambert has spent on LB's during his time here. I have a good feeling about this one though.
