Not really sure what we have tried to do in this game. We have been so predictable looking to get the ball out wide for a cross to Mertersacker. Half the team look way out of their depth in a PL side. CNZ amd Vlaar have been particularly shite. This team needs 5 or 6 quality players this summer or else we are in trouble.

For us to not be in this position again we really need to look at what Southampton did amd try to replicate it. In my opinion we need a young GK, a LB, RB, CB, CM, Winger and possibly 2 strikers if Benteke leaves. We really need to be spending £50m+ this summer to get our squad to an acceptable level.

Just completed Dark Souls - PTD Edition for the first time. What an epic adventure that was. Think I preferred it to Dark Souls 2. Has more characters you care about. Brilliant game.

I'm not sure Randy Lerner could make us any less ambitious than we already are. We have to be sold ASAP as we will eventually go down under his ownership. Agree, but it would appear that no one with funds is interested in buying us. Even if there are people with the required funding, it seems they also need to pass Lerner's questionable character profiling in order to have an offer accepted. Lerner's track record for Villa related decision making isn't the best.

If we sell him for less than £35m I will be disappointed. We could use that to bring in 4 or 5 good players.

Can't stand Fellaini. Such a talentless prick. If he didn't have giraffe legs he probably wouldn't be a professional footballer. He gets away with about 6 elbows a match because of his height. Should be banned for 5 games for that tackle today.

I'm worried that Sherwood will sign over priced British players. A bit like MON did. Hopefully our Chairman, whoever it ends up being, will not let it get out of control like we did when we signed the likes of Dunne and Given.

I have a feeling that Randy Lerner will remain our owner for at least another year. Unless he is willing to invest again I certainly hope I'm wrong.
