Yep, it’s decent and the fight scenes are ace.

So, this happened right above me last night. for about half an hour there were constant flashes in the sky, but no thunder or rain. Then we started to get a low rumbling thunder and the lightning got more intense and finally there was an absolutely massive crack of thunder and it hammered it down for 15 mins. It was ace.

Watch Narcos and read (or listen to the audio version of) Killing Pablo. Killing Pablo the book, is better than any documentary I’ve seen about him. It’s amazing.

The wife strikes again...... Convinced me to watch ‘Down To Earth’, a Netflix documentary series with Zac Efron. First episode was in Iceland, looking at renewable energy and stuff. The content was decent, but my McGrath, Efron and his Superfood guru (cult leader) mate are a pair of absolutely massive clearings in the woods. like Bro, this is awesome I know Bro, totally awesome Bro, I mean Bro this is so cool I know Bro, cool

Women’s thighs cheer me up. Thick ones, not overly thick, but the kind that would get a bit of chub-rub on a long walk. Ideally tanned and tattooed.

I’m one step ahead. Time isn’t real either, so I combined the two and walked out of Goldsmiths with a Rolex. It’s why I’ve not been posting much recently, the WiFi in Winson Green is woeful.

We could recover from this pretty easily, if everybody remembered that money isn’t real. Money, debt and monetary policy are entirely man made concepts that could be changed in any way. We could completely reinvent/reboot the whole system and start again if we wanted to.

I’m deliberately going out for something to eat on the other days, I’d rather pay double the price to sit in relative comfort than have to deal with a load of divs desperate to save a tenner on a meal out.

S2 is good, but it does drift a little bit towards the end, then ramps up the quality again. S3 is some of the best TV you’ll see. Top tier.

@HanoiVillan I object to the without justification comment! It’s all the best things about Tarantino’s films in one place. Like a greatest hits collection, but without the wanky MOR, unit shifting, singles. It’s not just his best, it’s his best by a decent margin too

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is Tarantino’s best movie.

Too much technical Navy dialogue for me. 90 mins of shouting random stuff at each other. lots of good about it but apart from a tiny bit of intro into Hanks’ character, it was hard to give a toss about any of them. The action was good though and it was pretty tense at times.

We’ve just watched S1 and are on EP2 of S2. It’s decent, Jessica Biel was excellent in S1.

It comes up on here periodically and I think about half a dozen of us have watched it. It’s one of my favourite ever shows. Obviously, you can’t compare it against the ‘greats’, it’s not that kind of show, but for sheer out and out enjoyment, it’s right up there. Best violence and fight scenes of any show too. Brutal.

There’s a pie shop in Padstow that does traditional ones, but they also do a steak and blue cheese variety - absolutely amazing.

Apple’s is pretty awful too. I mean it kind of looks slick, but the navigation is a bit crap and all over the show. Harder than it should be to find the actual content you can access with your subscription. Disney+ is good though.
