  1. Will be a difficult game for you guys, saw QPRs game today and they were good. Redknapp line them up similiar to what he did with Spurs. 442 Little and big combination up front, two wingers, two hard workers in the middle, attacking full backs. Zamora fit again, Remy is lethal Hoilett in form and finally being picked, Townsend been their best since he joined Park and Mbia are strong and experienced in the middle.
  2. It's been a decent month for him
  3. That can change quickly, not looked good this season. Wouldn't be surprised if Adebayor makes a money move in the summer.
  4. http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=146250 There's a Sam Allardyce to Villa thread on West Ham forum
  5. If the big boys come in, no way. He won't be on that much at Swansea, 40-60k at the most? 80k and he will be gone. Probably less
  6. Good luck tonight, you guys deserve a cup final. Hoping for Villa and Swansea to pull through
  7. Les Allen from the Spurs double team of 61, had two sons who made it as pros - Clive Allen (who played for most London clubs and scored 49 goals in one season for Spurs 86/87) and Bradley Allen (QPR, Charlton, Grimsby). Clive's son Oliver play professionally at lower levels. Les's brother Dennis played most of his career for Reading. His son is Martin Allen (QPR, West Ham), who again has a 20 year old son, Charlie, trying to break through at Gillingham. Third Allen brother Ron wasn't a footballer, but had a son who was, Paul Allen (West Ham, Spurs player of the year early 90s, Southampton).
  8. It's not like Fulham aren't interested in retaining him, Hangeland is keeping his cool to get as much money as he can in what perhaps is his last Premier League contract. He'll go after the money.
  9. Think you should stretch far to sign Wilfried Zaha, Ashley Young all over again. Get there before the rest, convince player that team will be built around his qualities and point to the success of Young. Sale of Darren Bent should cover a good part of the deal. If you can't land him then I'd consider doing something you won't like, turn to Spurs and loan their most talented youngster 19 year old Alex Pritchard. He struggle to get game time being behind one Gareth Bale and with lots of other senior internationals filling the bench. Over the two first Nextgen series season the only player that has been better than Pritchard is arguably Ajax' Viktor Fischer. Also I recommend making a double bid to Molde for Vegard Forren (if Everton hasn't landed him yet) and Magnus Wolff Eikrem - they are now key players for a Norwegian national team on the up. Forren is certainly no worse than Fulham's Hangeland, good size, dangerous in the opposition's box, good with the ball at his feet likes to play out of defence (prefer to play to the left of the middle, fit Vlaar well). Wolff Eikrem came through the Manchester United academy where he was a key player and leader for both youth and reserves, known for his great reading of the game, vision and passing range. Went home to become a senior player, not easy to break through at United. A cheap option to replace Bent as back up striker could be Nikola Djurdjic, who'd probably cost £1.5m. who has a 1 in 1 ratio in the swedish league and did well in UEFA competition this fall. Skillful striker who makes others around him perform better.
  10. Don't think he hit the ad boards with his leg, he landed with it underneath him just outside of the grass. Not sure what surface is there, or foreign objects
  11. Brad Friedel's record of 320 consecutive Premier League games comes to an end today Spurs starting line up: Lloris, Walker, Gallas, Caulker, Vertonghen, Dembele, Sandro, Lennon, Bale, Dempsey and Defoe #COYS subs: Friedel, Dawson, Huddlestone, Townsend, Sigurdsson, Falque and Adebayor
  12. Bentley had 15 assists in his last season with Blackburn. 442, two big guys up front, his crosses and taker of every set piece. It was perfect set up for him there.
  13. Think he'll push the record some games more, but it will stop this season for sure Can see Lloris getting his first games in international and domestic cups
  14. I've suggested him for you guys for years, good foil for Darren Bent. Big strong decent on the ground, can play both midfield and attack. Able to give support to Bent, but also drop down and add to the numbers in the midfield
  15. 1 Manchester City 2 Manchester United 3 Chelsea 4 Arsenal 5 Tottenham Hotspur 6 Fulham 7 Newcastle United 8 Liverpool 9 Everton 10 Sunderland
  16. A scoop like that and you bring it to us rather than taking it to the papers? It's not pictures that were meant to be public, club has made the forums take them down, but they are still available through google search. Was just a heads up for those who'd be interested in seeing them.
  17. rs48.jpg vitalfootball in google image search will show pictures from Spurs' new training ground
  18. It's only natural to be honest, for all Premier League clubs, that there'll be a raise in wages this summer. With the increase of tv income after the new deal.
  19. http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs/News/new-contract-for-gareth-27062012.page New 4y contract for Gareth Bale! So much for the player exodus at Spurs
  20. Vedran Corluka has left Spurs and joined Lokomotic Moscow, confirmed by the russian club, fee unknown so far.
  21. One year left of his contract. Scored 4 goals in 8 games for Ipswich, their fans loved him Found his level, you think? Not at all, was far too good for the Championship. No doubt he's good enough for Premier League, question is whether it fit him - also he need a manager with faith in him that play to his strenghts as he has weaknesses in his game. Not a jack of all trades - he has extreme qualities, and some weaknesses.
  22. One year left of his contract. Scored 4 goals in 8 games for Ipswich, their fans loved him
  23. Newcastle know what their doing. Reckon de Jong will be financed by a forced Ba sale though. Betting suspended on Stephane Sessegnon transfer from Sunderland to Tottenham btw. Remains to be seen whether there's something in it, been quiet.
