  1. We have Gabby back now remember if benteke getsinjured. I had got a bit annoyed with him lately but he's been back to his best since sherwood arrived. No reason why he can't play on the shoulder and let Grealish, delph and bacuna feed him is a similar way to Benteke. Gabby's played the loan striker well before and when he's fully fit and motivated he's a right handful. Sherwood just needs to set the team up for him?
  2. Takes great confidence and self belief to walk into a club like ours (with some apparent loud personalities) and almost instantly earn the respect of the players and fans. The players are playing for him and doing all that's asked. I watched his interview with jamie redknapp the other day and you could just sense the training session was buzzing. I have a feeling he's really modernised our approach and the players are talking it all on board and delivering. About time we had a manager with a bit of banter too, he's a straight shooter that's for sure and I enjoy listening to his interviews. I'd like to think there will be no more of these baron spells either, Sherwood says he won't stand for mediocrasy and appears to have no hesitation in dropping a senior player. 50% win ratio in his first 30 odd games, pretty impressive when you consider the difficult circumstances and the fact they've not been his hand picked team. "Imagine what he could do with an owner who backs him......."
  3. Can't believe how well the players have responded to Sherwood. Goals and assists from midfield is a very promising sign. Can't believe this is the previous lacklustre midfield is now one of the most dynamic in the league. Love the fact we can play through the middle of teams now, something we've lacked for years. Expectations are sky high now, is team could really go places with a few key signings. Keeping Benteke is a must, but we need to learn to play without him just incase. What a player though, I think he'd be a fool to want to leave. He could tear the league apart next season if delph, grealish and bacuna keep up This sort of service. Think bacuna needs to be in the team, he's proved time and again he can create chances, but just not at right back. Where does sherwood fit him in?
  4. Ah man, I'd love it if our 2 big hopes for the future in grealish and Gardner actually lived up to the hype and formed midfield trio with delphy. Would make me a pretty proud villan! 5. Agree with that, people forgot how good we were for those last 8 odd games of his first season. All down to benteke's goals, without them we were gone.
  6. Probably not the right place to post this but MON and Sherwood have some similarities in approach (in my opinion). If we win the FA cup and qualify for Europe, this all out attack in games and 110% training will cripple us. See Hull, see swansea, see newcastle, see Everton. Hell, even see our injury list since Sherwood arrived. 2 fit center backs at the moment? Lowton is next in line if vlaar or okore get crocked, which is VERY likely. Our squad aint big enough....unless of course we get new investment
  7. Along with N'Zogbia... with Grealish on the left... sort of like an "inside forward".... y'know? Lost with all these positions nowadays, I meant the stupid role gabby had to play for the past 5 seasons...basically a left winger, but not quite.
  8. Sherwood has played Grealish in the hole/ number 10/ free role. Lambert had him playing as an inside forward (?), same as gabby. Both are completely different players now. Lambert bottled it, or just didn't have a clue what to do without any assistants. The greedy, stubborn bastard should have walked, but nah, would have preferred to relegate us and walk away with some cash. Thank god we had Tom Fox on board to eventually pull the trigger...would Faulkner have done the same? Could be Randy's best (and last) major move as owner.
  9. Jack will surely stick 2 fingers up at the sky clubs, well at least for another 5 years anyway. The kid supports villa, it's his deam to play and do well for us, not to mention his family (also villa??) would probably castrate him!
  10. So glad about gerrard not getting to play in the final, used to remember him always taking the piss out of us. Karma's a a bitch aint it !
  11. Agree on the washing, my missus decided to 'help' by putting all my expensive woollen jumpers in a 40 degree washing. My 3 year old nephew is now one trendy kid
  12. This years glastonbury lineup, I shouldn't moan, but I ain't impressed. Plus those slow people at ATMs, how about find your card first, not wait until you're at the machine lol
  13. LOL Davakus, I bet you weren't expecting to give counselling on you second date. The girl may need to seek some help, but from someone other than yourself. Dodged a baggage bullet there I think. Abuse from childhood can often rear it's head in later life and it's very difficult to and cope with . From my experience with my own mum (now my gf's mum) it involved a lot of alcohol and a lot of violence. Suppose it's difficult to understand if you have never been subjected to such things. Anyway, they come in 3's remember, cant wait for the next 'date' as it promises to be a corker.....I'm going for a cannibalism enthusiast.
  14. Fully aware that most people don't click on other people's music, but if you like indie/alternative guitar music, or whatever the genre is called nowadays, i'd recommend these chaps Ty Segall - Manipulator - Some mind blowing stuff! Slaves - Album out soon, proper mental these guys Hanni El Kathib - Moonlight Greylag - Greylag Nick Waterhouse - Either album Listen to a lot of KEXP radio aswell, the studio creates a great sound with certain bands. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VETPFH1mTls&list=RDVETPFH1mTls
  15. Hangover shits - sometimes so ferocious, you actually get a mini pile. Knew that Doner kebab was a bad idea, worth it though
  16. Well as you lot are such judgemental bastards, I thought id try and make a bit of effort to start with, just like dating . Don't worry, I don't make my girlfriend wear my body parts. Knew I should have opened with the 'who's Thom Yorke' line
  17. It's not the only piece of skin I've offered either, I lost my foreskin during a drunken barbed wire hurdling incident, she now wears this lovingly on her wedding finger.
  18. This girl could have been saying very similar things to her mates all week? "Like oh my gawwwwd, I was having such a great time, then for some stupid reason I basically accused him of being a Freddy Kruger type kiddy fiddler. He just shrugged his shoulders and got all defensive. The guy still wants to meet me though, Should I run for the hills or at least leave a note with the local police of my whereabouts if I go through with this?" At least if tis relationship does last, you will have a funny 'first date' story to tell people anyway. On my first date with my current partner, I burnt the roof of my mouth on a 1000c stuffed mushroom, not sure what came over me but I offered the resulting skin piece to my g/f as a token of my love. At first she was a bit freaked out, but after some gentle persuasion she decided to eat it. That's true love. Ok the last part is a lie about her eating it (she has it encased in a necklace instead LOL ) but it's still something stupid on my part. Most normal girls would have probably left, Not this one, I like the kooky ones too

  20. Do not, under any circumstances, ask a woman if she's pregnant, just because you haven't seen her in a while and she's put on a bit of weight. Awkward !
