Apparently a couple of PL clubs (among them Plop) are looking at Vitesse Arnhem LB Max Clark(e) previously at Hull and with some youth caps for England. Wonder if we are among them? We need competition for Targett and to get rid of Taylor.

If there is any truth to this I imagine Konsa, Hause (or Engels) will go out on loan which is fair enough. I kinda like Vida, he reads the game well and is pretty aggressive. From what I've seen he's pretty vocal and a bit evil. Might even say he's a bit crazy. Absolutely has the winner attitude me might lack. OK in the air and pretty mobile for a CB. Would not make a good RB anymore IMO. Edit: All this is based on watching him not that many times in all honesty.

Sure, although Grealish is likely as £80m asset and McGinn at least was very highly rated. But I agree, we've spent on potential rather than current ability in some cases. And in some cases we've just overspent.

I'd imagine the poll might have looked a bit different had there been any realistic or non revolting options to vote for. Even a non of the above option would have been enough. That said no point in getting rid of a manager like Smith who's still loved by the fans for what he did last season if there isn't a very good replacement. Absolutely not change for the sake of changing.

Yeah it's better than what we are currently doing but 1.2 pp/g would possibly still not be enough. Apparently his 29% win rate is the second lowest in club history only narrowly beating out Zola's 28.75% Even Avram Grant and Glenn Roeder were quite a bit more successful

I mean he was arguably the best player in the Portuguese league for 2 straight seasons before moving to Russia where I imagine he lost some passion for the game after being racially abused during every game.

Hulk rumored to go on loan to Espanyol for the remainder of the season. He'd be a fun signing for us Sure our fellow Brazilians would enjoy training alongside such a legend. 33 now but I'm sure he still can kick a ball pretty hard.
