  1. Tbf, we did have two Premier League manager's assistants sacked for bullying not too long ago.
  2. Poor subs again and we invited them on too much at the end there, but thoroughly dominated before and got the win in the end, so **** it! Never thought I'd say this, but thank god for Kieran Richardson! Nice to see Tim learning from the past and getting players on the post. Tough call between Jack and Delph for MotM.
  3. He used to have a brilliant penalty record, but shortly after he began starting regularly, his technique visibly changed and his save percentage dropped off significantly, Had to have been coached, as it's not the kind of thing one just randomly changes.
  4. Good player from what I've seen, but... 6'1" is towering?
  5. You'd think the coaching staff would be the ones ordering players to get on the posts, but I guess, in the absence of one, Brad could've done it.
  6. Needs to play as a winger. Put lots of good crosses in and attacked relentlessly, but don't think he'll ever be a real defender.
  7. Trash. Soft goals to give up and awful subs took us right out of it. This should've been a comfortable win and over by the break, not the gut-wrenching hellride it was.
  8. Sherwood out. There is clearly no coaching or nous to be found here.
  9. Cole looked tired and behind the play 5 minutes after coming on. I don't really buy the training thing, unless Sherwood is expecting him to be running himself into the ground. Can't really see N'Zogbia or Benteke being hard trainers, though, and frankly, I would neither expect nor want my diminutive, tricky Spanish attacking player to be running through walls like a defender or central mid.
  10. Did we just let them take the kickoff?
  11. Gil should've been an easy swap for Sinclair, who just could not make the right choice with the final ball all game, or even for Benteke with Gabby pushing all the way up top and Gil playing in behind. Andi was a baffling choice in that situation, not at all suited to the game as it was. Hell, I'd probably have put on young Jackie Gresford before AW, too, if only for his directness. Might've actually won us a foul (or, given how the game went, found himself sent off again).
  12. You'd think Swansea the ideal game for Gil, surely he should come on for Sinclair now?
  13. I felt Weimann's particular brand of energy was the opposite of what we needed in the position Charles had been playing and Gil should've come on instead. Our possession started dropping a bit and S'land created a few chances after Zog went off (even moreso when Benteke was subbed; RHM probably should've come on for Sinclair, unless Tim is trying to keep CB a bit riled up), Gil likely would've been better for keeping and using the ball intelligently in seeing the game out.
  14. A little over 4100 to Birmingham. Incidentally, I wish our Birmingham were that far away.
  15. Hanging by a thread, much like we are. ;^(
  16. We paid something like 700k for him, right? The free kick vs City was worth that alone.
  17. Never know, Guzan's taller and more agile than Friedel and we've seen him save looping headers like Rooney's goal a few times now.
  18. Never been a huge fan of Big Sam, but, save some unlikely parties from the Continent, I think he actually might be the right man for the job at the moment. Rather him than Sherwood, definitely.
  19. After the massive letdown that Destiny proved to be, I've been hopping around between DaSII, Dust 514 and my backlog. Kinda feel like I'm in stasis, finding myself unable to really get into anything other than Dust, and that's just masochism. Eagerly awaiting Bloodborne, Witcher 3, NMS and the like to justify grabbing a PS4 and getting excited about gaming again.
  20. Roar like a 15-watt solid state practice amp? :^/
  21. At least Bacuna wouldn't stop and look confused when approaching the opponent's goal. We had 62-bloody-percent possession and nobody besides Gil moving and offering options around Hull's box. Bacuna tries to get forward and attack, which is more than you can say of, well, pretty much our whole team.
  22. Did I see 62% possession? This is what we do with it? :^/
  23. He had some good little runs and moves at times, but the last stretch of the game he just went completely off it, probably should've been subbed for Bacuna or Sanchez with around 30 to go.
  24. We should be looking for a minimum four wins there.
