  1. i did vote and we obviously should be aiming for top half as a minimum but i really want a cup run. i want to go back to wembley. it's been too long and actually a very realistic route for a team like us to get into europe
  2. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2022/05/22/inside-aston-villas-transfer-war-room-steven-gerrard-prepares/ some interesting insights.
  3. be interested to know the voting for POTY. i reckon ty would've been in the top 3/4
  4. they don't celebrate 'with' them though. they bundle them, hang off their necks etc (see nyland in the carabao cup game vs leicester). whilst it might be in good spirits, these are elite athletes who have just done 90 and sometimes 120 mins of football and just don't need it. i bet the players **** hate it...if they wanted to celebrate with the fans, they'd join them at the pub after the game. never do though do they, cause they don't want it.
  5. wanna bet? you see it every time. the 'lads' go on first, then the dads with their kids go..."well everyone else is...come on son" once a wave of fans go on, the rest will follow, regardless of what threats are made personally i think the time has come for some temporary fencing/netting for these high profile games
  6. the cynic in me says that won't go through a coked up moron's head as he's launching himself over the advertising boards. you need something that's going to deter them at that very moment IMO
  7. what do you like about them out of interest? surely it would be an even bigger outpouring of emotion having the players on the field still and enjoying the moment with the fans?
  8. same time next season. nothing can be done to stop it. they can threaten banning orders but few clubs will follow it through maybe we just need police around the pitch with batons, tasers and pepper sprays in hand, and anyone coming over the advertising boards gets it
  9. Interesting digne just posted this on insta. Does the wave emoji against kamara mean anything? https://instagram.com/stories/lucasdigne/2842098520115368847?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=
  10. burnley are a horrible bunch. but thats not a red for me
  11. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-61505835
  12. you really think city weremt speaking to jack until the summer? transfer talk goes on all the time throughout the season those who were ITK on here said it was done as early as Xmas
  13. he was born here but was never on anyone's books therefore not home grown. the clue is in the terminology, he wasn't 'grown' at an english club therefore doesn't meet the criteria. he might not even hold a british passport
  14. he should absolutely face action as a result but the pitch invasion doesn't happen, this incident doesn't take place also guarantee there's more to this story, he wouldn't have done that unprovoked
  15. jeez man i was being facetious there's plenty of articles out there as to why this is a big deal. i suggest you look them up
  16. well lets go through the options of teams to root for in the playoffs: huddersfield/sheff utd - can group together into the same reason...both recently been in the PL and were both pretty shit. unlikely to stick around long luton - would be somewhat of a fairytale and would be mad to see a ground that small in the PL but lets face it none of us are getting tickets for our game there and realistically they'd be battered and forgotten about fairly quickly forest - big fanbase which we've not had any needle with (correct me if i'm wrong) and a team that you'd think would make a proper go of it in the PL. i think the reason (aside from their history) is simply that we'd rather see teams like forest in the PL than teams like bournemouth, fulham, norwich and burnley. i don't think it's a love in per se
  17. i struggle the same. walk to and from work every day (c.1.5m each way) and calories at around the 1700/1800 mark but all it takes is a day on the beer and i'll get a maintain rather than a loss now the season is over i can knuckle down losing weight is **** difficult
  18. i always think back to the carabao cup semi v leicester watching these gurning lads hanging off nyland's neck. last night their fans bundled their keeper, smoke flares everywhere that these athletes are having to inhale. imagine if they'd ruled him out of the final? a player is going to get injured one day anyway, pitch invasions for a semi final are small time. you aint won anything yet.
  19. i hate pitch invasions for so many reasons, this being one of them. don't know how, but i'd love to see them stopped
  20. the difference in class to last night is vast. i maintain the winner of this tie comes up
  21. was being facetious in response to a few that indicated he should keep it to himself...
  22. maybe they should just keep their race to themselves, rather than feeling the need to tell the world that they're black
  23. how is this the first time i'm hearing this? honestly never knew this
