Plymouth have signed Bali Mumba from Norwich for "more than £1M" who was on loan there last season. If they've paid that for 2 other players I don't see why we can't demand that for Azaz too.
Yeah he wasn't tested but I think the defence still looked solid in general. In that particular move he also did well to stay big in a 1v1 and force the attacker wide.
I also wouldn't be surprised if Olsen remains no.2. Matches like Stevenage, Man Utd and Brentford didn't inspire confidence although he did okay v Spurs.
How uncomfortable he is with the ball at his feet and just sorting his feet in general is probably the biggest issue when he plays.
I'd say something like this is probably our strongest team at the moment? (assuming we get Diaby)
With the likes of Carlos, Konsa, Tielemans, Bailey, Buendia, Coutinho and Archer not even getting in!
Labour overturn a 20K+ majority to win Selby and Aintsy!
The Lib Dems took Somerton and Frome overturning a 19K majority
The Tories somehow held Uxbridge and South Ruislip though by 495 votes after a recount
Those sort of majorities being overturned does look like it could be electoral wipeout at the next election??
I've done a stats comparison of Bailey's final season in the Bundesliga and Diaby last season here and while there are similarities a few interesting things jump out: Diaby had a higher xG + xA. He attempted more progressive passes. His pass completion was higher (especially longer passes) Also he got a higher percentage of his shots on target.

9G + 9A is also Bailey's best season whereas Diaby has previously managed 13G + 12A.
I'd add to that although I've only watched highlights of Diaby, from the eye test he just looks a better player.
And like you say hopefully the competition for places raises everybody's level too.
Oops I may have forgot Archer there for a second I think I'd still be concerned we have nobody proven at leading the line if Ollie were to get injured though.
Yeah I think we'd all like to see a new backup GK come in that inspires a bit more confidence should they be called upon.
Will be interesting to see if we actually get a RB or if we just go with Cash, Konsa and Chambers.
