I think whether we need a new RB basically depends what job is going to be asked of them most of the time which we don't really know yet. If it's going to be a more defensive player tucked in I'm going to guess we use Konsa or Carlos there and don't sign one. However if they're expected to get forward and provide width then I'd say Cash needs some competition.

Ah yes we've developed him for 3 seasons into a good premier league striker just to sell him for basically what we paid for him

I think playing it safe makes a lot of sense especially when the Tories are continually scoring own goals (to continue the football analogy ) and handing him the win. However there are situations where he and the shadow cabinet could take positions that would do their popularity no harm but they still won't which I find frustrating.

I really hope he's just trying not to frighten the horses before the election and if/when he gets in he's going to be far more progressive and radical than he seems but I'm not holding my breath.

I hope we get a few more after Diaby but wouldn't surprise me if we have to move a couple of players on (like Chambers) before any more incomings.

Of course Phil Dowd was the actual reason but I feel Gabby going slightly away from goal gave the ref a (flawed) reason for not sending him off.

Well it was the club that rejected the offer wasn't it, not him? Also it was deadline day and we didn't have time to replace him properly. Arsenal's final bid was £25M supposedly. Wouldn't surprise me if there was a compromise and his new deal has a £30-35M clause.

Will be interesting to see where Tielemans fits in unless the plan is to change to 4-3-3 on a more regular basis. I did see something about Moreno maybe being ahead of schedule which would be a huge boost if he is fit for the start of the season.

Yeah I couldn't decide whether it would be Diaby or McGinn playing off Watkins (as McGinn did it at times last season)
