I LOVE the 'Wallander' series. The books are a great read aswell. I prefer the Swedish series though.

Watched two films yesteryonder. Dirty Girl....never watch this film. Ever. Being Flynn. This was much better. Although probably just a paycheck for De Niro he nails another performance. Paul Dano is good aswell albiet with an annoying looking face.

I've walked through a sketchy area of Bridgetown in Barbados where the boogie buses stop, I wouldn't say I feared for my life though. We stumbled quite literally on a floodlit village cricket game where there was barbecues and loud music. I was handed a large bit of steak and told to pay $(us) 20 for it. They got angry, I dribbled from my pants, then they all fell about pissing themselves. After that they treated us like kings and even sourced some special...plants....for us to er...look at. Lovely people.

Well good for you on that front, however I doubt they give lessons in how best to pronounce the surnames of Dutch-football-players-of-Moroccan-descent-playing-in-England-for-English-football-clubs Out of interest, why Arabic, when you live in Turkey? Yeah well it was free...but enjoyable. It's only a small taster course, although I still need to master Turkish before even contemplating another language.

Yeah his name will be pronounced 'Akh-madi' unless David Pleat says it. Well it depends where you are in Germany. Most in the NE will say Ich with a hard 'k' sound, but elswhere they'll pronounce it 'Isch'.
