It's nothing to do with the fact that he's black. Literally millions of opposition fans gave exactly the same grief to Grealish whilst he played for us and he's the whitest man on the planet. He's a word removed. End of story. Nothing to do with his application. Incredible player though, and you're right, he's shown proper loyalty to Palace during a period where he could have gotten a much much bigger move.

Whilst I don't mind us becoming harder to beat by playing a little dirtier, the worry is that we will become known as a dirty team to officials and that will have a subconscious effect on refs when officiating our games in the future. (They already seem to be dogshit, so its a real worry that it could get worse).

My favourite Villa outfield player. Absolutely love the passion he shares with the fans when he celebrates goals, wins, big moments. I'd even begrudgingly accept him knobbing that svelte minx in the women's team, he's that good.

It's actually really good timing. Allows two things: 1) Wheedle out the underperformers and those he doesn't rate whilst drilling his tactics into the players properly. 2) Identify holes in the squad to improve in the Jan window which comes straight after the break.
