    Tend to agree with this, what happens in this window is pretty bloody crucial to how our season pans out. They have to be able to hit the ground running and go straight into a starting team. And business needs to done quickly no ********* around just get them in!

    We simply need to start taking points from games we are not expected to like Southampton did at Chelsea, we missed an opportunity with the Sheff Utd and Southampton games that could be really costly unless we get those points back elsewhere. The standard of our football is getting worse week on week now as confidence gets lower. What happens in this transfer windows could be huge, if we don't recruit well I am beginning to fear the worse. I can see West Ham struggling they have a tough run of games up to the end of Feb.

    Going only with what we have available and as our wingers are generally pretty shit, I'd go with a diamond in midfield with either Conor or DL chosen depending on the opposition!     If you have a manager who insists on playing attacking 4-3-3 football you have to play with two attacking midfielders! It's a game of score more than you concede, but i agree DL is not that DM that should be Nakamba with Jack left and SJM right barring injury of course!!

    Because he's on a pittance of what his earning potential really is, he's around by loyalty only right now and that won't pay the bills once he retires, he's got the wrong accent for punditry so unless he becomes a manager he's best banking some money whilst he can!

    We have cover at CB and CM, our forward line is the only area we need to recruit in January a CF is an absolute must, and a decent winger would go a long way to keeping us in this league. January isn't the time to do another 100 Mil!

    We didn't suffer because Jack was playing in CM we suffered because the forwards we have are not up to standard so he had to get played out of position (in a position he hates), if we get a decent winger in Jan (Benrahma unless Spurs get in there first) it will transform us.

    Why would you build a team around a player who's not likely to be around in 18 months, I do think he will be around next season but after that he'll be coming into his prime and will go to a bigger team most likely playing in the CL (hopefully somewhere in Spain as he'll be appreciated in that league). And the best of luck to him he's given more than enough for the team he supports!

    You don't seem to grasp our wage structure, Heaton and Henri are our only 2 players on over £40k then a whole bunch including Jack, Kodj, Targett on £30k+ Wesley is not in that group.
