  1. Release him? Why would we do that?
  2. If it bad we could have seen the last of Heaton, which is a real shame as I was hoping he'd be around for a couple more seasons.
  3. I'm not to bothered about this one, to much going on elswhere right now but play Kodjia for 50-60 mins with a view to Davis coming on to get match fit.
  4. Maybe initially for a couple of weeks, at the end of the day he's a 22m asset so should be getting the best posible care in the UK.
  5. Speedy recovery Wes not sure it should be in Brazil needs to be back at BMH as soon as feasible. Lets hope the new striker has some quality and Davis can chip in and help, we still need another option in the squad though.
  6. Batshuayi will head to Crystal Palace with Zaha going the other way most likely. Giroud will be looking for a permanent move most likely that'll rule us out.
  7. Showed little interest or desire yesterday, I seriously would play AEG or Trez ahead of him as a striker if it came to it!
  8. You're talking about Heaton right?
  9. Happy as a pig in shite, late here in Oz so i'm going to bed a very happy Villa fan. So good to have TM back UTV!!!
  10. Wesley putting in a decent shift on the front post!
  11. I'm actually enjoying a game for the first time in a while, I ****ing love AVFC (most the time)
  12. I think where ever he goes he will give 100%, but no I don't think he will come to us bigger clubs will come calling.
  13. A current French international looking to secure a place in next years Euro's? Maybe spent as a top 6 striker, but for me he'd improve our forward line ten fold! Not saying he's the 'one'! but definitely someone of his ilk short term to keep us up.
  14. I'm also completely on board with the clubs vision for the future too, but right now I'd happily take Giroud for the rest of the season. We've done incredibly well considering the lack of PL experience in this team but a couple more wise heads would go million miles to keeping us up.
  15. I really don't think we will sign two new wingers, DS may continue to play Jack wide left for the rest of the season with a new winger on the right at an uneducated guess either Benrahma or Bowen (i'd take either both would be a ideal), or he might put his faith in AEG on one wing and a new winger on the other so Jack can stay as CAM I do think that is the most likely.
  16. Ive based my vote on the current squad, I'm hoping the players we bring in during the January window will have a huge impact and turn things around.
  17. A direct replacement for McGinn is probably more important than a DM right now imo. Not a chance we will be buying 2 wingers unfortunately but can certainly see one coming in as it is desperately needed. For me we need. 1. Winger 2. Striker 3. CM
  18. I wish the Danny Drunkwater rumours would go away!
  19. Conor deep just doesn't work that was obvious against Watford, we should see more possession against Burnley which will suit Conor he needs to play an attacking role or not on the pitch at all.
  20. I watched there game against manure and apart from a Taylor mistake for the first goal and just total caution to the wind looking for an equalizer in injury time with Pope up for a corner resulting in a manure counter which saw a late goal Burnley weren't to bad, however they had very little possession and just a single shot on target first half I do think we can get something from this game. There weak point is Taylor at LB (sound familiar!) and they are a bunch of fouling bastards! Normally I dislike seeing Jack wide and much prefer him to be in the middle but for this one I think he should be wide right, if he was wide left he'd be up against Bardsley who had a good game against manure, he could reek havoc against Taylor and draw plenty of fouls for Conor to take. GK obviously Heaton. Defense not got a clue who is fit right now if no Mings, Engels or Targett I guess it will look something like Guilbert-Hause-Konsa-Elmo Although he's not been great recently I'd have Nakamba (not going to call him Marvelous as he's far from ******** marvelous) as a DM Then a four Left to right of AEG-Hourihane-Luiz-Grealish Then in an ideal world either Kodjia first choice as I feel Wes needs to sit a game out, if not Davis if fit. But have a sneaky suspicion it will be Wesley. So my 4-1-4-1 Heaton Guilbert-Hause-Konsa-Elmo Nakamba AEG-Hourihane-Luiz-Grealish Kodjia No point in out and out wingers as firstly Trez and AEG haven't really produced, secondly Burnley will win any cross we put in, thirdly I think a Jack and AEG wide but cutting inside would be much more effective.
  21. No not for me, I think providing we don't leave ourselves short we should accept any offer that comes in for him in Jan or just release him let him go off as a free agent. He'd improve a lot of mid to low table championship clubs, and I'm sure he will still have Wales ambitions.
  22. Sheff Utd reportedly looking at 12 mil for Eberechi Eze, sort of player we should be looking at would make a great understudy to Jack for when Jack eventually moves on.
