I agree with this outlook also. The harder we are to beat the easier we will find it to score. We need that solid base to operate from. If we weren't so easy to play against at times we wouldn't have lost as many games as we have this season. Wesley, Ollie and keinan are passable for next season.

If we had an ultra fit team incredibly high energy I think with the ball we can go 3 3 4. Really risky but with the right players we'd pin teams in for long periods. And yes I'm a little loco Esse.

This is what we need to start doing. It's not sustainable the constant £100m-£130m outlays every summer. We definitely need something coming in too.

What I will say is that I once spoke to Ciaran Clark and said that he gets spinned and rolled alot because he gets too tight. His response was "thanks fella you're right it's something I'm working on.". Evidently it was a mentality issue during games. Since he's gone to Newcastle he's cut that part of his game down. I've told Jordan Ayew he seems to get a little excited and rushes when presented with chances in the box. He said "yeah maybe". Then he proceeded to diss the management especially with regards to the punishment of Jack at the time. Depends on the player I suppose.

Agreed. I suppose it's one of the issues with playing inverted wingers though those balls are impossible to play.

The goal Cavani scored should be on repeat for all our players especially Ollie.

I suggested him for the current season on a half a season contract. If he wasn't made out of wet tissues I'd have him for next season. The obvious one was Mandzukic who rejected us earlier this season. It's the benefits of their experience to Ollie, Davis and Wesley I'm looking at.

See I'm not fussed if we get a cam or not. Our central 3 just need to lay a base for everyone else to play and keep the blessed ball better. That's where the wide players come in and be like hybrid wingers and play makers. We've got one of the best in the world on side it's the other side where we should improve.. although I do expect Traore to get better next season.

Central midfield is where it's all at. I also noticed that Wan Bissaka and Luke Shaw had 90% passing accuracy. Our full backs were in the 70's. With better Central midfielders we'll see Cash n Targett improve their passing. Better ball dominating central midfielders will create better angles , options, space to receive the ball. Those two Thuram and Kamara will give us instantly a solid platform from which to play. Edit - I'd like to see us get one player in any position who can teach our current squad the art of shithousery.

One variable posters are forgetting is that Ollie got to the ball first. So that action happened because of the effort to avoid contact simultaneously as getting to the ball. Theirs was a penalty but ours should have been too but for different reasons.

When he plays poorly which has been in the majority of games these two seasons people are hardly going to say he had a good game right? One decent game every 20. Today was that game.
