I don't think slabhead should be starting. Mings and Stones is a good partnership. Some of the tackles and blocks they made and they were high-fiving each other like the two old men for Italy do. I'd play Chilwell at left back though. The top 3 clean sheet teams in defence last season.

You could tell he wanted his boy Targett out there too. Mings to Targett ball goes forward. Mings to Trippier ball kept going back to him.

Would have been good to see Watkins in this game. Tyrone to Ollie is such a weapon for us it would have been good to see it in action for England too after Kane comes off.

I like the idea of Mount playing as an 8 but Phillips and Rice played really well today together. Jack will find it hard to get in.

If we had taken our 'easy' (relatively speaking) chances we would have finished very close to the top 4. This for me is a massive positive because it shows we're not far off just need that extra bit of killer instinct. Say last season if we had Buendia and Jack I think we'd be easily making reservations for Madrid Barcelona et al. I think we're going to have a good un. The addition of Buendia from a purely defensive POV makes me very confident that we'll cause a lot of damage again this season. Exactly! Great post. I'm sure there's cheap options with potential in the championship. Josh King is no better than what we have. I'd rather Barry or Brad Jones cover Watkins than Josh King. He's injury prone too.

I don't know about you mofo's but this signing for me has the potential to be as effective as the sabre toothed prick has been for Scumchester United. I think I have to readjust my pre season prediction of top 10 to top 7 now just with Buendia alone. All because of his pressing.
