we are averaging 2 PPG over Emery's tenure in the PL, but our last 6 PL games we are averaging 1.33 PPG. Hopefully we can get back to 1.75 or 2 PPG over the next few games.

my lord, Southgate is such a tw*t. I bet he was spunking all the way to Holland knowing he didnt have to field any more questions about Henderson playing in the sunday league, and he can pick him again without having to pretend/make excuses for "Hendo". honestly, i dont think i have ever hated an England manager as much as Sh*tgate.

tbh, i dont think many ppl are calling him an actual flop. I think most reasonable ppl are just saying that his form has dropped and he has been struggling to be as effective as earlier on in the season. ie: in the PL, the first 10 games he got 3 goals and 5 assists, in the next 13 games, he has 1 goal and 1 assist. He is clearly a quality player, maybe he just needs some adjustment time etc, tbf, hardly any of the team has played well in the last 10 or so games (pre the 5-0 vs Sheff Utd), so its defo not just Diaby who has not been up to their early season standards in the last 10 games or so.

Neto is a superb player, but he is always injured, while is is a brilliant player, i personally wouldnt take a punt on such an injury prone player.

i wonder sometimes, say...during the week if im a little harsh on him at times. then it comes to the weekend, i watch him play, and i slap myself in the chops for ever doubting myself. tbh, this is how i feel when i see him with the ball at his feet: then, whatever he does next, i think:

i prefer him at CB, but at the moment i think he's also our best RB. we really need a quality RB in the summer, so we can have Pau/Konsa at CB permanently.

tbf, if you look at his highlight reel, the chance he missed tonight, is almost identical to one he scores in his highlights. I think he was just slightly ahead of the ball for tonight's chance, anyways, not sure why we are getting hung up on it. he seemed busy, harassing/closing down players, trying to tackle etc, so that was good, he's a big guy, tbh its nice to have a physical specimen in the midfield/forward line, will be interesting to watch how he adapts to the physicality of the PL. I know the champ is physical, but the PL is more physical/athletic, and its used more intelligently, so will be interesting to see how he adapts etc.

he looked a lot better tonight, but granted, against the bottom club. hopefully he manages to get back to the form we saw last year, seems like him and Ramsey seem to take some time to get back up to speed, either that or the injury impacted him more than we are aware of. tbh tho, we mostly havent played well as a team since he has come back in, so maybe that has hindered him.

great to see him get a cameo. had a really good chance to score tbh, pity he didnt take it.

was very sloppy at times, but he is young and needs time to settle, so we need to give him time tbh.
