Can see what DS is trying to do, and i like it, we just dont have all the players to do it right now (ie: we prob have 50% of the players). onwards and upwards, Jan will be an interesting month.

my review of the players. Nyland - oh boy, terrible, is Sarkic ready? Taylor - looked hit and miss in the first half, but actually did pretty well in the second half. Tuanzebe - great performance. (should sign him in Jan if at all possible ) Chester - goal line clearance, a goal, played really well. (MOTM) Hutton - looked hit and miss in the first half, but actually did pretty well in the second half. Hourihane - terrible imo, just terrible, should be on the bench at best, some of his passing was terrible, poor choice/passing got us in trouble more than once, if hes a DLP i'm Lionel Messi. McGinn - not his normal all action self, but covered the pitch well, decent performance. Grealish - some really nice play at times, good performance, nice goal. Kodjia - some nice runs / touches, but no final ball, always seemed to make the wrong choice, infuriating tbh. Adomah - some nice runs / touches, but no final ball, always seemed to make the wrong choice, infuriating tbh. Abraham - nice assist for grealish, looked good at times, but also sometimes he seems to struggle controlling the ball. Bolasie - some nice runs, but still needs to learn to press/track, and also he needs to realise he can pass to fellow team members. Hogan - made some nice runs, but didnt rly have time to make an impact. MOTM - Chester, but Tuanzebe a close second, Grealish third.

omg Hourihane is so bad.

nearly conceded due to terribly sloppy play by kodjia. Also Bolasie is being lazy and not tracking/pressing.

Hourihane is terrible.

not sure it could be any less effective than kodjia/adomah currently (fingers crossed)

60 minutes we need to get El Ghazi & Bolasie on and see if we can look less crap. (oe worse depending on how it goes )

i think the prob with Kodjia and Adomah on the wing/inside AM, they arent "intricate passers", so it kinda doesnt suit us overall i dont think, they arent bad players, i just dont see them fitting the AM role. Not impressed with Hourihane, at all! Nyland omg, is Surkic not close to being rdy for a jump from the U23s?

and ye, we made bolton look pretty decent in that half......

to be fair at least taylor and hutton are trying, Hourihane (so called DLP) is leaving them in the crap with no out all the time, really disappointed with Conor, no idea what hes doing.

for me in the first half, Grealish, Chester, Tuanzebe look decent. Nyland and Hourihane......why...........

McGinn seems a lot less aggressive as in hunting players down tonight.

not being funny but Hourihane has been about as much use as a chocolate fireguard so far.
