You think Carlos and Lenglet are worth 70 million quid? FFS!! And so we’re clear that’s about half what one of Chelsea’s midfielders is worth.

We’re now playing our 4th and 5th choice centre backs. Any team would struggle but that won’t be mentioned by anyone. Hoping Pau is back by the weekend because Lenglet is painful to watch!!!

I couldn’t give a shit about the FA cup. Glad we’re out I still find it hard to get my head around how much commentators dislike us. Even when we scored Dixon said it a mishit and a fluke.

With Pau out I think that’s the right starting line up. I think we need a big performance from the three pulling the strings in the middle of the park (Luiz, McGinn and Youri). And as always we need to take chances when they present.

You could say that about every club. Transfers don’t work out and players end up on contracts that are far beyond their worth. They sit back and see out the contracts. As is their right.

This pissed me off no end. Imagine in any other walk of life admitting that you essentially defrauded your employer for years. And what’s the reaction a big laugh and a “Micah you’re a rascal type comments”! I love that it all started with him thinking he was having a stormer in training. I think that’s his problem. He’s totally deluded. He thought he was a top footballer (average at best) and now he thinks he’s a top pundit (all he does is talk nonsense and laugh loudly)!

I do like that’s he’s a bigger lad. Our team in general is small. Even our centre backs (maybe not Carlos and Mings) are on the smaller side. If we could get Duran back fit have some decent back up in the front line for Europe etc.

Any idea if Pau will be fit for this one? Of he was fit I’d push Konsa back to right back and put Carlos in the middle. Again if fir Bailey has to start. Emi Konsa Carlos Pau Moreno Doug Kamara Bailey Tielemans McGinn Watkins

I know most won’t have a club but any idea what he’s like with the ball at his feet? I think it’s amazing how much Emi has developed this part of his game in the last year or so. Maybe the plan is to bring is a clearly very good shot stopper and develop him into Emis eventual replacement.

If he’s heading straight out on loan we’re clearly planning for next season. Digne off in the summer and he slots in as second string LB. Same as Kosta.

I get the feeling the same people who are slagging Diaby off are the same people who were saying the same thing about Bailey this time last year. Diaby needs time, Emery will find a way to get the best out of him. There is a talent there. No doubt.

They can be anti football and highly effective. They realised that we struggle to break down teams that sit back so they got 10-11 men behind the ball at all times and defended their box. They then played long to Gordon/ Isak/ Almiron. They lived mostly for dead balls that they made the most of them. it was Steve Bruce, Tony Pulis tactics very well executed.
