    Couldn’t agree more. He seems to be one of the media darlings. Let’s be honest if he was a foreign player he would’ve been kicked out of his club and would get destroyed by the media.

    Refs in this league are so poor. The ref has marked where the free kick should be taken and then allows Toney to move it a huge amount. Even after the keeper has set the wall he moves it again. People will blame the keeper but it’s 100% the refs fault.

    I’d be fairly confident if those goals were scored at the other end one or both would’ve been ruled out. I still find it hard to believe the two goals we had ruled out against Sheffield United.

    Speaking of Chelsea it’s mad to think they are willing to let Gallagher go. I don’t think we could afford him but what an option he would be in midfield alongside Doug and Kamara.

    I’ve watched a few of these types of shows. It’s either entertaining because they succeed (Burnley) or really fail (Sunderland). I think anything in the middle might garner no attention.

    Question for you! Why is there such a difference in xG from one site to another. This one says 0.99 to 1.82. Tells you Villa should’ve won the match. But then I see this website saying it’s 1.04 to 1.34 making it seem a lot more even. https://understat.com/match/22098

    The good news? We don’t play again until Jan 26th so we can all have a nice break! Hopefully it gives time for Pau and others to get back to full fitness. Chelsea on the 26th (FA cup) and Newcastle on 30th are two huge games for different reasons.
