I was watching the Villa V Newcastle game with some neutrals (Bolton, and Everton fan). As soon as they saw him on the pitch they started laughing at how bad he was and they couldn't understand how he starts for us most games. Terrible player.

He's hardly a disgrace guys. He ain't the best but if we're stupid enough to give him such a great contract he isn't going to be stupid enough to reject it. I'll wish him well, he has provided some fantastic memories over the years. He has just been found out the last few years as whatever talent he did have around him has now gone.

Even when people think he's been good, he's still had shite moments in a game. He got this job on the technicality of a shite manager that recommended him, he is nothing, he's a fool, and he's a waste of time.

I've not rated him from what i've seen so far, however he can be useful against Arsenal. Get him to bully the defenders, and float some crosses to him.

I seem to be hopeless playing as Villa like usual. I'm Playing a 4-2-3-1 formation, I was controlling games but silly error's kept costing me and I kept giving away penalties. Lost my first 5 games in a row and on the 6th I was 2-0 up until the 80th minute away at west ham and then they scored 3 goals to win the match and now i've just lost 3-0 away to bournemouth. At the start I was using control mentality with fluid shapes and fast tempo, now i've started listening to the coaches and using counter in some games and more structured shapes but nothing seems to be working. I'll get it eventually.

He will always be a liability on the ball, and always has a mistake in him. Squad player at best for me.

Why all the negativity around Gabby with Duverne. They worked closely doing a lot of 1 on 1 sessions last time he was here and there was no issue between the pair of them last time round It's slag off Gabby at any chance time, didn't you know?

The whole team is playing shit, I think it's hard for striker's to play well when this is the case. I recall Benteke looking useless for a large period last year. I still think he's a good buy.

You should be a manager. You obviously know which players should and shouldn't be starting. That's 3 managers now who keep picking him but they are wrong, clearly. That's also 3 managers that keep picking Richardson and Gabby.

Villa and a B'mouth double is around 44/1, stuck a fiver on it. With these games anything can happen, few Villa players will want to prove themselves tonight.

Excellent goal. I'd like to see him start over Westwood, maybe not tomorrow but he definitely has the talent.

I think he'll keep his place in the team but as a wing back with 3 CB's. Not something I agree with.

I'm probably one of his biggest critics but after seeing on MNF how isolated he was with Westwood's stupid forward runs I think it made him look worse than he was on Sunday.

I'm not going to jump on the losing faith in Sherwood bandwagon. Tactically naive with substitutions in the second half, he will learn. Individual error's keep costing us, and he's recognised Guzan is a problem.
