  1. We're in for Yedlin according to Percy.
  2. I'm still not sure we've been sold. Xia's blazer arms are consistently too long for him, I have a feeling it could be Randy in a Xia costume. Nobody had even heard of Xia before he bought Villa, and he is very secretive with what he owns. I also believe that General Krulak is in control of Xia's twitter account, he has taken a completely different approach this time and refer's public matters to Keith Wyness, perhaps Nicola Keye's new Alias. All that just to help boost season ticket sales. Well I for one am not falling for it.
  3. So Diawara is off to Napoli, and Adama wants to leave. Not the greatest of nights, however we have shown a lot of ambition in pursuing Diawara, enough ambition that gives me confidence that RDM and Tony know what they're doing. Another striker, Ravel, Trippier, and a winger to replace Adama please Tone. In Tony and RDM we trust.
  4. Annoying because he has so much potential.
  5. If you want to go for stats, have a look at Gueye for us last season and then his stats. You'll then realise they're not the be all and end all.
  6. Brighton and Norwich looking very good so far albeit only 3 games played. Hoping Reading can add to Newcastle's misery tomorrow.
  7. Read on twitter (take with a pinch of salt) that he only arrived at 6.45pm and was asked by a fan if he was playing to which he replied yes. Maybe he was dropped for being late.
  8. Found this on Twitter. Amadou Diawara is 'intrigued' by the chance to play in the Championship. [Tuttosport] #AVFC
  9. Can anyone slightly ITK ease my fears that a RB is being looked at? ...please?
  10. Anonymous first half, but did play well 2nd half. I think he will be a useful player for us this year, however I don't think he should be starting every week.
  11. Agenda to pick out shite players.
  12. I actually think he might have made Gardner's performance worse. Anyone that pairs up in midfield with Westwood seems to be shit (minus Delph).
  13. I thought he made an impact when coming on. He's so comfortable with the ball it's a joy to watch which can't be said for a lot of our players. Really think he should have started today, we had all those attacking players but lacked creativity.
  14. That comment about things coming to an end isn't on his insta.
  15. It's on instagram he liked the video.
  16. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather him not be at the club if we could get a decent replacement for Clark. Starting the season 1 CB less than last year is very risky. Especially with Okore and Baker's injury records.
  17. After losing Clark, i think I'd like to keep Lescott.
  18. Pictures of Diame at Newcastles ground on Twitter. Nothing to see here. I would link but not sure how on my phone.
  19. It's worth noting that Derby haven't signed anyone this window and they supposedly don't have a great deal to spend due to FFP. It could be a case of them having to sell to buy.
  20. I've read that Newcastle have had a £6m bid turned down for Knockaert. That is someone who I'd like us to be in for.
  21. Ayew and Amavi will definitely stay! We'll get striker but be confident with the manager team knowing what to do! - Tony XIa Juy 22nd
  22. No chance with Barry. He won Everton's player of the year award last season. Maybe next year when he's out of contract and we're back in the premier league.
  23. What an absolute joke that Sheffield Wednesday are charging Villa away fans £42-£49 a ticket for a televised game on a Sunday. I fear this is a sign to come this season with us being category A games. It's always the fans that it hurts. Aston Villa fans have reacted angrily to news they will have to pay £42 to watch their team play Sheffield Wednesday. Roberto Di Matteo's men head to Hillsborough on August 7 for a game already delayed by Sky Sports' decision to broadcast the match. And insult has followed injury after Wednesday confirmed Villa's supporters would have to pay top dollar for their first glimpse of Di Matteo's team. Many have taken to Twitter to protest.
