  1. With a sound defence behind him he can be more positive, it showed today
  2. Thought some of the football was brilliant at times. Thought the tactics, subs spot on.
  3. Can't believe how hard we worked in the second half. even kodjia!!!!
  4. Remember you wanted him sacked as well.
  5. Right team imo. Rewarding performances last week.
  6. On a rolling contract and leaves 5 days before the season. Will not be acknowledging his return in the opposition dugout with anything other than resentment. I possibly need need to move on!
  7. Will be loaned out again, not sold, I think. May actually benefit us.
  8. I disagree totally with every single assertion. 3rd best squad? Should be 10 points clear? mourinho / wenger? 25,000 gates? nostradmus talked balls as well.
  9. Think the cheers weren't for hourihane getting taken off but for Ramsey coming on. Any negativity was for his "we're 3 up not 2 down" stroll off the pitch. Happy to slate the fans when we act badly, I actually think a lot of the players including hourihane are getting off quite lightly.
  10. Hutton, Taylor Jedi, whelan. All played yesterday. None will have contracts renewed. Kodjia a busted flush early to blame smith when 4 of your starters are useless. With the exception of central mid he doesn't have many options. Don't think he's god, think it's too early to call him the devil.
  11. Not replying to my own reply. Wkik says most he has scored is 19, then later says 20. His attitude is possibly on a par with Richards etc the year we went down. Does he have skill -yes. Does he really give a toss I think not. Any inference that this is down to the coaching team is misguided imo. He looks as if he has realised he may not get in the Ivory Coast squad and is in a mood.
  12. Would rather we signed no one than bought more squad players. Need to be first team regulars.
  13. The implication is that he's not the best at everything, but that his effort endears him to all, is the point I think you're trying to make. I disagree, I thinkthat he's much more than that. Not sure why I'd need to think anymore about it. Anyway, time to move on.
  14. I'd agree, thought Taylor played ok, but when he let the ball roll out of play for a corner, and later ran backwards because he couldn't face running towards the oppositions goal, it signified the end! think 2 perm. And I loan. Rico Henry, Cahill and ............
  15. It's exactly what you said. He's not the..... and then listed all of the things he's not the best at. Imo I think he is the best tackler (faint praise in this team) i think he is the best passer hes not the most skilful, but he has bags of skill, his shootings more Miss than hit.
  16. Conor isn't the problem. It's the lack of balance in the midfield. They don't function as a unit. If there was a tackler beside him, mcginn would go further forward and Conor would be the passer. Who do people want to replace him with, and lose his goals and assists?
  17. Surprised he starts considering he can't do anything. He's a damn sight more than effort.
  18. He looks the worst midfielder on the pitch. Alan Power is a unit though.
  19. On tonight's showing tish coming back is a no for me.
  20. Perhaps Bruce was right, some of the fans are hysterical. hes trying to play a totally different style of football, with a pile of crap. I've only seen the 3rd goal, I'd love someone to explain how that was smiths fault, because he used him as a sub? We have no squad. We have 3 cdms who together make 1 cdm. We have 3 full backs, all of whom are targeted every game because everyone knows how crap they are. We have 2 central defenders who in a perfect world would be 3rd and 4 th choice. None of that is smiths fault. I don't know if he'll get us promoted, none of us do, but I think he deserves more than 1/2 a season, before the "I told you so's come out"
